Available for auction is a 1975 BMW Motorsport Division sign. Measuring 27" in diameter and 1/4" thick, this solid aluminum BMW sign is in excellent overall condition. The back of the sign reads "BMW Motorsport GmbH West Germany 1975 München 80337." 
On May 1st, 1972, history was written when BMW Motorsport GmbH was founded. The early 1970s were the dawn of a new age for BMW: A new, young Board of Management under Eberhard von Kuenheim had set out to strategically power and pursue the ongoing success of the Company. Including the legendary BMW Four-Cylinder as well as the establishment of BMW’s own in-house Sports Division.

How would one hang the sign? I see 3 nibs on the back, does something screw in there?
