Over the years, the Porsche Turbo has continued to grow into one of the most iconic sports cars in automotive history.  Accordingly, the 997.2 model is considered by many to be the last true 911 sports car, due to its size and visceral sporty driving experience.  This 2012 Porsche Turbo Cabriolet is a prime example of what is so special about this generation 911.  Due to lack of use and frequent travel, the current seller is offering this vehicle for auction in like new condition with only 8k miles on the odometer.

The black paint is stated to be all-original and in exceptional condition.  A few features set this Turbo apart from other models including the factory clear taillights.  The car was originally sold with model designation delete, however, an OEM Turbo badge painted in red has been affixed.  The 19” Turbo II wheels are in perfect condition and wear a set of brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

The interior is equally impressive.  The black full leather is stated to be in virtually brand new condition with minimal wear.  The original MSRP of nearly $163k included exclusive options such as heated/ventilated seats, Guards Red seatbelts and gauge cluster, Sport Chrono package, park assist, XM radio and more.  A full build sheet is available in the photo gallery.  All components are stated to be in working order.

Power comes from a twin turbocharged 3.8L engine that produces approximately 500HP and 480 lb-ft of torque.  To handle the power, this Porsche is equipped with a 7-Speed PDK transmission, providing lightning fast automatic or paddle shift gear changing. Performance is enhanced by the factory ordered dynamic engine mounts.  The car has been properly serviced throughout its life at both Porsche of Bellevue and Porsche of Charleston.  A recent 5K service was completed by European Road and Racing.

The sale will include 1 key, service records, the original window sticker, factory books, and a Carfax report.

The Porsche Turbo remains one of the most iconic sports cars ever produced. This is a great opportunity to own an extremely well cared for example.

@davidcarbon11 Why does the build sheet from Porsche show that it was built with Turbo II wheels? It's option code 421. Can you provide a picture of the option code sticker under the front hood? That should tell us what wheel the car left the factory with. Thanks.

@CJMMJM The wheelscame with the car from Factory. It was ordered and delivered with them. Cant explain why the original owner ordered them but personally I prefered them so it was what I was looking for dc

@JJMNY Hi Jimmy. The pictures where taken last Saturday literally the day the car was listed. I didnt bother switching the tags from WA to SC as I knew we would be moving OS and hence would have to sell the car. Nothing noteable with servicing.

Car looks great. Two quick questions.
Noticed the car is pictured with Washington tags on it though the car was serviced in South Carolina back in April and being offered for sale out of SC. Are these current pics?
Any notable service details worth mentioning other then what is indicated in CarFax?

Looks like a very nice example. PDK in a cab doesn't bother me or the market I'd assume. The big question is why the car has the wrong wheels? This car was built with 911 Turbo II wheels but that is not what's on the car. In fact, most would consider these wheels a downgrade making the car look like a 997.1 Turbo. Are the original wheels available? Why were they changed to the old style?
