This 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe is finished in Black over a matching interior and features a 6-speed manual transaxle connected to an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine. It was acquired by the seller in 2024 after it had been parked in a garage undriven for over a decade. This 993 is finished in Black and includes an optional electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, power-adjustable side mirrors, headlamp washers, Porsche-branded brake calipers, dual exhaust outlets, and a raised “basket handle” brake light spoiler. The car rides on 17” Cup 2 wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps and new Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires. The seller indicates the left rear quarter panel was recently refinished to address sun fading and factory-applied Cosmoline remains visible on the engine. The Black partial leather interior features an optional 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, and custom Porsche crest floor mats. Other equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, a central locking system, a center console cassette holder, folding rear seatbacks, and an aftermarket Sony stereo. The seller adds that the air conditioning system was recently charged, and all gauges, electronics, and accessories are fully functional.
An air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 272 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transaxle. The seller states the car was recently serviced with all new fluids and there are currently no outstanding maintenance items.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

DonnyB-No leakdown or compression test were performed. Checking with the shop that did the review they are suggesting $1112.75 for rears and 1152.20 for front brakes so at that price it must include rotors and pads. I would suggest contacting your favorite Porsche shop for a quote, these boys at this shop are a little pricey
Doing these jobs of recommissioning, do you do compression, leak down and check all electronic's testing? Sounds like brakes are going to need brakes before too long. Rotors, calipers, pads or all? "If" I'm reading your report right..

second shop discerned brakes on all four corners are near sensor,not there yet but getting close.Right front tie rod had been damaged by a tow truck or transporter so I had them replace and give the car an alignment.In addition aformentioned seeping on right side valve cover gaskets.
You mentioned if went to another shop to take a look at it, did they do a PPI on it or any sort of report on condition?

We have taken car to a second shop for another set of eyes.The right bank valve cover gaskets are seeping as well as a front boot.I have authorized the replacement of the boot.One can see the engine shots to discern engine is dry
sblack20-I do not have picture of panel.It was a 12 inch by 12 inch area that someone had laid a towel on it but more than likely that the sun hit the same spot from a window for 14 years,it was faded and would not buff back.No previous damage

Tire condition? How does it drive? Any work done on engine? Leaks?
we have the items that we have addressed,a/c charge,oil change,brake flush,fresh tires.The technician kept repeating that the car was in good order and was not in need.We have taken the car to a second shop for a second set of eyes so that we can make an accurate presentation.The car is a reflection of the tough Porsche make.Pull a Ferrari,a Brit,or even a Mercedes from a 16 year static situation and discover how much they need to recommission.We are currently recommissioning a long nose that has also sat for 16 years in storage,same scenario,very little needed.
Service records? Especially, what was done for reconditioning after a 16 year slumber?
