Topping Porsche's model range then, the 991 Turbo S remains one of the quickest cars on the road nearly a decade after its debut. This 2014 non-sunroof Coupe is finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a matching leather interior and features 20” 911 Turbo S wheels, heated front seats, the interior package painted, a heated carbon fiber steering wheel, and more. It was acquired by the seller in 2018 as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche Downtown L.A. Benefitting from a recent major service, this Turbo S is now being offered for auction out of California showing approximately 27k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Basalt Black Metallic, this non-sunroof 911 features Turbo-specific bodywork including wide fenders, side air intakes, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. Standard equipment includes yellow-finished brake calipers, and center-locking 20” 911 Turbo S wheels. The seller adds that this example has been paint-corrected and lowered on a set of H&R springs. The seller acquired the vehicle with minor patina on the front bumper, a few rock chips from driving, a slight simple beneath the rear badging, and a small crease on the right bottom corner of the rear bumper diffuser. Additionally, the CARFAX report lists minor damage in January of 2017 and detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, this Turbo S is upholstered in black leather with Alcantara inserts. Optional equipment includes heated front seats, the interior package painted, instrument dials in white, the center console trim painted, a luggage net in the passenger footwell, and the gear selector and heated multifunction steering wheel in carbon fiber. The seller confirms all gauges, electronics, and accessories are working properly.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine, the Turbo S sends up to 560 HP and 516 lb.-ft. of torque to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achievable in less than 3 seconds, continuing onto a top speed of 198 MPH. Standard equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, along with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), and rear-axle steering. The seller notes that a set of H&R lowering springs has been fitted. The car benefits from a recent major service including an oil change, brake fluid flush, battery replacement, AC service, spark plug replacement, pressure sensor adjustment, and smog inspection.

@supermoo technician stated that there was 4-5mm before sensor on brakes…plenty of life still on brake pads.
@Boblox - any idea on the thickness of the pads and rotors? Given the miles, I am sure they are near new but given the expense of those PCCB rotors, worth asking.
@JThurmond7 yes, car is equipped with both front and rear parking sensors as well as back up camera.

@Pathy none what so ever. All OEM stock besides the lowering springs. Stock exhaust, no tune as well.
Have there been any tunes applied to the car, or any other kind of performance modifications? Is the exhaust stock?

@Boblox Thanks! H&R, and Eibach springs are common mods. I would assume that the Turbo S comes with SPASM vs.PASM height springs…

@Morefun the lowering springs is a moderate 1.5” difference from stock height. Porsche service technicians had no issues with it. My apologies, the stock springs were lost when moving storages. I’ve looked on EBay and the oem set will cost $349.00 usd. Not bad if you wanted to return car to stock height. Happy bidding

@DonnyB Prior to that, the car had a major service in October of 2019 by the dealership the vehicle was purchased from (Downtown LA Porsche). That May 2020 note on the carfax was a Porsche North America recall in which the vehicle was brought in to the dealership and no damage or action was needed. Since then, the car has had two services in which there is no damage or any indication of fire in the engine compartment. The car has never had any engine fires whatsoever.
@DonnyB That was a recall from Porsche and was repaired at Porsche
Reading through the CarFax, I see the damage in 2020 was the result of "engine fires"... What burned and what bits were replaced beyond the heat shield? Kinda important to me.
