Renowned for its classic design, robust powertrain options, and cultural importance within the golden age of American muscle cars, the first-generation Chevrolet Camaro debuted in 1966. This 1969 SS example is finished in Nardo Grey over a new black houndstooth interior and has undergone a resto-modification process that, in addition to the interior, includes a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine mated to a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission, 19” Ferrada wheels, QA1 and CPP suspension components, custom audio, Vintage air, and more. This 1969 Camaro is said by the seller to have been first built in California to race before being rebuilt as a show-worthy streetcar. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Rhode Island.
Finished in Nardo Grey, this Camaro features black trim that extends to the Chevrolet Bowtie, front headlight surrounds, front spoiler, Camaro and SS badging, hood louvers, mirrors, door handles, as well as side grilles & marker surrounds, and rear taillight surrounds. Red Wilwood brake calipers sit behind 19” Ferrada wheels and additional details include Mini tubs, paint-matched front & rear bumpers, new headlights, and fog lights. The seller notes that the car was recently wet-sanded and buffed. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the cabin features Black houndstooth upholstery with a custom audio system that features Bluetooth connectivity, as well as 6x5 front speakers and 6x9 rear speakers. Equipment includes a black shifter, a split triple-spoke SS-badged steering wheel, a Vintage air conditioning system, as well as a custom dashboard with silver-framed, black-faced Autometer Cobalt illuminated gauges that show speed, RPM, water temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The seller reports that a battery kill switch has been mounted in the trunk and that the windshield wiper motor needs replacement, though all other gauges, electronics, and accessories are said to function properly.
This Camaro has been equipped with a modified 6.2-liter Chevrolet LS3 V8 engine mated to a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission that features a trunk-mounted battery kill-switch, stainless steel long tube headers, a Borla stainless steel dual exhaust, a narrowed 3:73 Currie 9-inch rear axle, and adjustable rear traction links. Additional equipment includes QA1 adjustable coilovers, QA1 adjustable rear shocks, CPP upper and lower A arms, and a CPP 1 1/8th front sway bar. Stopping power comes from Wilwood 12.1-disc brakes front and rear. The seller reports that the engine produces 525 HP and to have recently replaced all fluids.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This car is not a sema car. It's a fun driver in excellent condition and you can't drive down the road without people thumbs-upping you or stopping to talk to you. When you pull into a show, you'll have people circling the car. You'll be proudly pulling up in this bad boy. The car wasn't dyno'd but I was told that the motor produces 525hp. I hope it goes to a good owner who takes good care of it.”

@JAMIEKIRK its cool but honestly I've never taken out that hot I'm in the pool 😴🤣. But I think those Temps is probably comfortable
@mike1967, how well does the Vintage AC work? Not sure how warm it gets where you are at but does it keep the interior of the car cool enough on a 90-100* day?

@Jtsmith89 lol
Just needs a 4 link now lol
@JAMIEKIRK they don't hit the fender and hard right turn out of a parking spot rubs a smidge on frame. Needs a spacer and are adjustable up or down
With the front wheels being under the fender can you make a u-turn without it rubbing? Any reason the coilovers were not adjusted to get the wheels out of the fender?
This car was built with lot of performance parts and completely gone thru with minor upgrades like blk halo lights and few other small things to make car even more awesome. I won't get what I put into this car but it needs a good owner who wants to enjoy it and show it! Make room for trophies!!!
@Mike1967 Thank you!
@Jtsmith89 no dings
@Jtsmith89 Sema is for flawless cars never driven and touched and stored . The paint is beautiful. I said that because it's a driver. Couple small blemishises in the pain you need the to search for. Paint is excellent
I see this says this is not a Sema car. Does that mean there are rock chips, dings, scratches? Please explain and pics of any damage. Thank you!
