BMW’s original 6-Series grand touring car, the E24 was produced from 1976 until 1989 as the flagship of the brand’s model line. This final-year example is a Japanese-market 635CSi finished in Delphin Metallic over black leather upholstery and equipped with a fuel-injected M30B34 inline-six engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The car was imported to the U.S. by its seller in the Fall of 2023 and is now being offered for auction out of Virginia with approximately 18k kilometers (11k miles) showing on the odometer.

The car rides on factory 15” BBS Style 5 basketweave wheels dressed in Michelin TRX tires size 240/45 showing date codes from 2019. Some minor stone chips are noted on the hood as well as a small outward dent and pitting on the chrome trim. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Accessories include a three-spoke M Technic 1 steering wheel, heated and power-adjustable front sport seats, power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, an electric sunroof, a rear-seat console with air vents, and a Sony AM/FM cassette stereo. The seller would like you to know: “This 1989 BMW 635CSi is a recent addition to our inventory, having been with us only about 6 months. The owner is always on the lookout for exciting pieces to complement his extensive collection of Imports and Classic cars, and this one certainly fits the bill. He is proud to share this vision of late 80's luxury to fellow collectors.”

@Firewood Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for that because we imported the vehicle just last Fall. Nothing about the vehicle indicates to us that the mileage may be inaccurate, but we don't have any information on how it was treated or stored prior to coming into our possession. Any suggestions I could make about the condition would only be speculative.
Looks real fine, and love the color combo. But how does the driver seat get that kind of wear in just 11k miles? I've had BMWs of this era with less seat wear after 70k miles. Are you certain that the 11k mileage figure is accurate? Thanks!
