Up for auction is this 1997 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S finished in Black over a Black leather interior. A lifelong California car, this 993 Carrera 4S has been diligently maintained with all scheduled service carried out exclusively by Beverly Hills Porsche. Reported to have been kept in the same family for most of its life, this 993 was purchased by its current owner earlier in 2020 shortly before undergoing a full paint correction and ceramic coating as well as some noteworthy maintenance items. This highly desirable Carrera 4S is now being listed for auction by its seller in California with approximately 85k miles shown on the odometer.
The Black finish is reported to be in great overall condition with a recent paint correction and full GTechniq ceramic coating treatment. Some road-going wear has been noted as well as a small touchup on the driver’s side rear quarter panel (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Carfax shows a minor cosmetic incident in 2003 which is said to have resulted in the front bumper being refinished. As an all-wheel drive model, this 993 is most notable for its factory widebody configuration and distinctive “4S” rear designation. The windows have been tinted and factory Turbo Twist wheels are equipped which are finished in chrome and dressed in healthy Pirelli tires from 2019.
Inside, the Black leather interior is said to be in very good condition except for some typical creasing on the seats. A Rennline magnetic phone mount is installed along with a steering wheel cover, although the cabin is said to be otherwise stock with its original radio remaining fully functional along with all other gauges and accessories.
Representing the final generation of the air-cooled 911, this 993 is equipped with a 3.6 L flat-six Varioram engine which is rated at 282 HP. A 6-speed manual transmission distributes power to all 4 wheels allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 5 seconds and a top speed north of 160 MPH. All service has been kept up to date by Beverly Hills Porsche including the following maintenance items in 2019:
- Front Brake Pads and Rotors
- Brake Fluid Flush
- All New Tires
- Replace Fan Belts
- Oil and Filter Changes
- New Clutch

@EyeforPorsche kind of unreasonable to ask him to take off this fitted steering wheel cover, go check eBay. if the steering wheel is destroyed a replacement is very inexpensive relative to price of a car like this.

@sf_gt3 - The only leak is actually a seep from the cam housing. No other leaks.

@Sunny_GT3 1) The wheels are stock as I understood they did not come in chrome from the factory and so it was something done at the dealer.
2) The previous owner mentioned it was a minor fender bender in a parking lot. PPI absolved from any structural damage.
