This 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe features a twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine with the optional X50 Turbo Powerkit and a 6-speed manual transmission. It comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black leather upholstery and includes the optional Carbon Package, a three-spoke carbon fiber steering wheel, upgraded GT3 Sport Seats, Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, a GIAC performance tune, 1-bar wastegates, an AWE Performance exhaust, adjustable control arms, OZ Racing wheels, and welded coolant pipes. The car was sold new in Florida and moved to Texas in 2003 where it remained with its original owner up until 2010. The car changed hands between several other owners in Texas before it was purchased by the seller’s client in 2021. Showing under 90k miles on the odometer, this Turbo Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Louisiana.
The 996 Turbo is distinguished from a contemporary Carrera model by its wider bodywork with side air intakes, unique bumpers, side skirts, and speed-activated rear wing. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on aftermarket 18” OZ Racing wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2021. Other equipment includes red brake calipers, optional stainless-steel exhaust pipes, an electric sunroof, tinted windows, and clear side marker lenses. The seller notes the full front end is preserved under clear paint protection film along with the A-pillars, roof, and rear quarters. The CARFAX report shows minor front-end damage in 2016 and the seller starts the front bumper has been refinished. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features Black full leather upholstery complemented by optional Carbon Package trim pieces, a three-spoke carbon fiber steering wheel, and upgraded GT3 Sport Seats with red stitching. Other accessories include red-lettered carpet floor mats, an aftermarket Alpine head unit with Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, and a Bose sound system. The seller indicates the original head unit is included in the sale and the heated seats are inoperable. The seller adds that the rear spoiler automatically raises and lowers, although it does not fully extend and causes an associated warning light on the dashboard.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine includes the optional X50 Turbo Powerkit which adds larger turbochargers and intercoolers with revised ECU programming for an output of 444 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller indicates the car has been upgraded with Bilstein PSS10 coilovers and adjustable control arms along with an AWE exhaust system, 1-bar wastegates, and a 1.2-bar GIAC tune. The seller notes the camshaft position sensor was replaced in 2014, the right-front ABS sensor/harness was replaced in 2021, and a fuel pump was replaced in 2022 along with an oil leak repair and welding of the coolant pipes. The spark plugs and ignition coils were also replaced at 84k miles.
This sale will include the original head unit, a window sticker, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, an air pump, a spare tire, a battery charger, and a clean title.

@oldsouth I do not, no. However, the film itself is in excellent condition. No cracking, peeling, discoloring etc… and the paint underneath does not show any signs of scratches/chips. The front end of this car honestly looks like the front end of a 5K mile example.

@larrygk I can not speak on the current emissions standings of the car as we do not emissions test here in the New Orleans area. All I can offer as far as emissions goes are the stamps on the carfax, showing several passed emissions test with the last reported one being in 2020 and the car 100% had the same exhaust system on it then. Lastly, an overall "safety" inspection was performed in 2023 which resulted in success as well...
The minor damage reported on carfax resulted in the front bumper cover being refinished from what I was told, my client says it was a low speed parking lot incident etc... the paint is a spot on match, you would not be able to tell if it wasn't for the carfax itself, hope this helps! Just over one day left on auction here for this pristine example of a X50 car, best of luck to all!

Two questions: Emissions passed was 2020. Cat's are aftermarket. Does it pass CA emissions at this point? Also the accident back years ago. Any other detail on that? Thanks again.

@larrygk both driver and passenger seats are motorized, yes!
@Nolasport as to the comment on the replacement seats: so the stock version indicated 2-way electric seat driver. That's code 375. Were the motors to adjust driver (left) seat maintained or are they both manual adjustable? Thanks.
@Avo_Tersaakyan All service records have been photographed and sent over to the auction manager, they should be featured in the gallery soon! Records of the clutch, coolant pipes, and others can be found there... I've also added a video with some spirited driving to the listing, this thing moves out!! Best of luck to all and apologies for not having the records displayed ahead of time, I take pride in creating proper listings with the help of the team @PCARMARKET, but they moved quicker than I could keep up with getting this 911 live... if you need/want to sell a car, this is the place to do it!!

@larrygk seats are out of a 996 GT3 from what I was told, definetly not original to the car hence the red stitching they have... but they go perfectly with the spec for sure!

@Nolasport thank you. Will take your word. A lot of tire stuff going on in Dallas which IME can mean autocross or track. Ask me how I know :-). Upgraded GT3 sport seats. Were those an aftermarket as they look like what shows on the original window sticker. I am not completely familiar with that aspect admittedly.
@larrygk no track use at all to my knowledge, no! I know my client did not ever track the car himself and no previous owner ever mentioned any record of track time to him... I would be AMAZED if this car was ever tracked heavily or even at all based on the current cosmetic and mechanical shape it is in.
Nice! Has the car been tracked? With some of the equipment and the welded lines it brought up that thought.
