Finished in Black over Sand Beige full leather upholstery, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S features a desirable 6-speed manual transmission paired with its naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine. It was further optioned with heated front seats, supple leather front/rear seats, the Power Seat Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and more. Showing just under 28k miles on the odometer, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 models feature wider fenders than the standard 997 Carrera, while the premium “4S” models receive red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust tips. This Carrera 4S is finished in Black with a matching convertible top. It rides on factory 19” Carrera S wheels with colored Porsche crested center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Sand Beige full leather upholstery. Optional equipment includes matching floor mats, heated front seats, supple leather front/rear seats, Porsche-crested headrests, the Power Seat Package, and the Bose High-End Sound Package.
Power is derived from a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine sending up to 355 HP to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in less than 5 seconds and stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled 330mm rotors at each corner. The 4S also comes standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This car was bought to keep forever! Due to spine surgery, driving it has become difficult- thus the reason for selling it.

@16lordjoes Sorry! I did not see the previous post about the coffee stains! Thanks.
@por356c HI Someone else asked the same question. The stain turns out to be coffee stains that i caused! I was watching the car being photographed and did'nt realize i was spilling my coffee. I have totally washed them away. They are gone!!
Hello - beautiful car! Can you please tell us if the stains on the passenger door panel (pic 69) can be removed? What is that? Thanks!
@mheister No. This car has not been painted. It has absolutely no fluid leaks. The car was in for service within the last 6 weeks at Porsche. They did not report any nor have I observed any of any kind.
Hi
Has this car been painted? Any fluid Leaks?
Thank You

Good Morning
No i don't think it is you! I don't see them either. I will contact Pcarmarket and ask them to post them. I was present when the videos were taken. There are a few of them and they came out well.
Thanks for the responses. Is it just me or are the videos you mentioned not showing up in the listing page?
@WTango Hi
I am sorry but i cannot post the inspection report. Auction site would have to do it and it is very long so it might be difficult.
Hello, can you please post the inspection report? Also, please forgove me I am new to pcarmarket, is there a reserve set? I can tell from the ad/ page. Cheers.

This will also be my forever car!!
I owned the twin to this car. I absolutely loved it. I have been looking for another. I will be all in on this one if it stays in my budget
Thanks for spotting it! I didn't notice it myself. I dripped some coffee on the door while it was being photographed. It wiped right off.
@16lordjoes; what's going on in picture #77....is the door panel stained? Could it be cleaned? Thanks, nice car.
Bid in the amount of $250
Actually 997's up to a certain engine number can suffer IMS failures. Does anyone know what the cost is to upgrade the IMS? I love this car, absolutely beautiful
Also-i have full service records on the car since it was new. I also have a 20 page inspection report from an inspection i had done on the car when i purchased it.
@16lordjoes One more note, only the auction site can add videos to the site.
@16lordjoes sorry--MP should say "No changes"
@jamestappel HI :
Mp changes have been made to the IMS bearing. That is usually a problem on the 996 not the 997. This car is a 997. And that bearing, if it is a problem, Porsche told me it occurs at least twice the mileage i have on my car. The serpentine V belt was changed. I put 4 new tires on the car last month.
There is a video of the car driving and idling. I am not able to put the start up video on the site. i'm sorry about that.
Hello, are you able to post videos of driving, engine idling and start up? Also, have you made any changes to the factory IMS bearing? Thank you.
