For the 2017 model year, Porsche expanded its Macan range with the GTS, featuring a more powerful twin-turbocharged V6 engine, adaptive air suspension, larger brakes, the Sport Exhaust System, and GTS-specific trim that includes the SportDesign Package. This inaugural-year example is finished in White over a Black and Garnet Red leather interior and features the optional Premium Package Plus, Sport Chrono Package, and more. This Macan is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas showing just less than 42k miles on the odometer.

Finished in White, the Macan GTS features the SportDesign Package as standard including a more aggressive front fascia, a rear diffuser, and side skirts. Other standard equipment includes LED headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), smoked rear taillights, high-gloss black trim, a black rear diffuser, black Sport Tailpipes, and red brake calipers. It rides on 20” RS Spyder Design wheels in Satin Black wrapped in Toyo Proxes ST III tires from 2022. The seller notes a few scratches and rock chips on the exterior and reports that the rocker panel moldings are wrapped in paint protection film. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is trimmed in Black/Garnet Red upholstery as part of the Leather Package. Options include the Sport Chrono Package, the Brushed Aluminum Interior Package in Black, Connect, and the Premium Package Plus which adds a panoramic roof, front/rear seat heating, a Bose Surround Sound System, auto-dimming mirrors, and Porsche Entry & Drive. The seller notes a small wrinkle on the steering wheel and normal wear on the driver and passenger seats. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in working order with no warning lights present.

Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, the Macan GTS sends up to 360 HP and 369 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. Standard performance features include adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and GTS-specific tuning, front brakes shared with the Macan Turbo, and the Sport Exhaust System. The Sport Chrono Package was also opted for. The seller reports that all services are up to date.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a spare tire, some documentation, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Welcome to the auction for my 2017 Porsche Macan GTS! This car is in great condition, completely stock, and ready for its next owner. All services are up to date, ensuring peak performance and reliability.”

    I would like to express my gratitude for all the bids received. Regrettably, the vehicle has not yet been sold. However, I wanted to provide some clarity regarding the transfer case warranty. After consulting with the service team at Porsche North Houston, I can confirm that the transfer case warranty applies to all vehicles exported from Canada and North American vehicles. Thank you for your continued interest and support.

    @Tabby13 I apologize, pads have not been replaced. The rotors were resurfaced. I am more than happy to accommodate any inspections. I will check with my local Porsche Dealer regarding the transfer case warranty but it seems the transfer case warranty is applied to all of North America.

  • jonas1jp (registered bidder) 4 days, 14 hoursago

    @Tmort I also have a 2017 GTS. Just did my brakes at 43k miles, but I do drive mine in a spirited manner. Ordered all OEM parts from Pelican and paid an independent to install them for a little more than your estimate. At the dealer it’s $3500-$4500.

    Simply being objective on this, and not a reflection on anyone, but without documentation, bidders should assume services haven’t been completed. If Porsche did them, nearly every Porsche dealer has access to the nationwide service record network that can pull this up by VIN. Easy solution. If not, have an inspection in which brake measurements are taken. That addresses the brakes. Plugs and PDK service are simply up in the air. The statement that all services are up to date is only directly supported by the claim of the previous seller, and indirectly by this seller. Based on the Carfax, it hasn’t been to a Porsche dealership in 5 years.

    I’m meticulous in my ownership and don’t expect everyone to follow that lead. But at a minimum, any claim in a transaction should be backed by paperwork, physical evidence, or both.

    @slauto
    With all due respect, I have no idea what it means when you say the brakes have been serviced. Either the brake pads have been replaced or they have not. Should I assume that they have not been replaced? Lastly, just for your own info and anyone else’s, I checked with my Porsche deal with this particular Vin number, and they said there is no warranty/transfer case because of the Canadian origin of the vehicle.

  • slauto (seller) 4 days, 14 hoursago

    @Tabby13 I've been informed by the previous owner that the brakes have been serviced and that the vehicle's maintenance is up to date, although they didn't provide specific service records for the brakes. Regarding the warranty, as the Porsche Macan GTS is a 2017 model year, the factory warranty no longer applies. However, to my knowledge, the extended transfer case warranty remains valid for both US and Canadian cars and can be utilized at any Porsche center.

  • Sylverlee (registered bidder) 4 days, 14 hoursago

    Was the PDK serviced? The Carfax seems to show only 1 owner unless I'm looking at it wrong

  • Tabby13 (registered bidder) 4 days, 14 hoursago

    @slauto
    Have the brakes been done? Also, with regard to the fact that this came from Canada, has it voided all warranties in the United States? Meaning the extended warranty on the transfer case, etc.?

    @jonas1jp my Macan S same year (the blue one that didn’t sell yesterday but is in Deal Tank), needed brakes at 40k miles (prior owner), and I just redid them again at 73k and it’s not like I drive her like a 911! And they’re expensive, I got them for $2k and that was a deal.

    @RodneyLadd I have heard good things about:
    Leadfoot Transport: https://www.facebook.com/leadfoottransportllc
    Nicks Auto Transport:https://www.facebook.com/nicksautotransport/

    I have also heard good things about Dealers Choice Auto Transport, but I don't believe they're based in the Houston area. According to their website, they provide nationwide transportation.

    @jonas1jp Unfortunately, I haven't been able to obtain all the service records for the vehicle from the previous owner. However, the most recent service was conducted at 41,500 miles (from the previous owner). The previous owner has assured me that all services were diligently completed on schedule. It's worth noting that all services have either been completed by Porsche River Oaks or Christian Brothers. Additionally, the brakes are in good condition. My acquisition of the Macan GTS took place at 41,500 miles, and I'm now selling it due to acquiring a different vehicle. Thank you

  • jonas1jp (registered bidder) 1 week, 1 dayago

    Any service records to show it’s up to date on scheduled items? Spark plugs are due at 30k miles, and PDK service at 40k miles. Brakes can typically be showing considerable wear by this mileage as well.
