@Whoneedsanother1 we noticed it immediately, retracted the bid and disabled the user. We also called the seller and issued a warning that we have a strict ethical policy. He assured us he will play by the rules and at this point, we will let the auction play out as the bid was removed. We apologize for any inconveniences and assure the community we are watching closely and ready to take any appropriate action.
mistake was reported and disclosed porsche paperwork included in sale
@PCARMARKET hopefully you take a close look at this one
Too much uncertainty as to what is going on here. Bidders answering questions for Seller, no reports that could have been easily uploaded, and a shame as I was interested.
Haha someone at the dealership bid up the car. That's hilarious.
didnt realize I bid my car, I immediately teported it, and asked them to pull auction down, instead pcar pulled the bid, and auction is on, we are a dealership and I've bid cars all day long the problem is I can't see very well on my phone in the dark gym my bad, There are several of us at the store so we have several accounts
So @bleu was bidding and the car is in their garage!!!???

@bleu Thank you.
I had the car detailed earlier in the week just to make sure it looks like new when the new owner comes for it
@tbtaden32, this car is in my garage at my house every night I have never noticed anything on the car. pictures with dust and sunlight can be misleading I can assure you when you come to pick up the car you'll be all smiles
@fast930turbo - sent you a PM too:
Pictures show a ton of swirl marks, and looks to be paint chip marks, and window chips? but your statement says car is flawless, please confirm? Does it have PPF ?

We do have all the paperwork from Porsche, regarding the buyback and suspension component change. There wont be enough time to get to my store and pull the deal jacket and post, but, it will be included with the sale of the car. Thank you for all your questions and interest.
Bid in the amount of $152,250
@skl2, the cars history is well noted, yes on Carfax which while can be incorrect on occasion, is still the most widely recognized medium for a vehicles history. Regardless **the fact is this car has never had an issue, other than a suspension rattle** I have a call out to my local Porsche dealer, to see what other info can be provided on the car. Will post what ever I can get in the next few hours.
@balti_j, The second key is included, I removed the black rock guards, and had the windows tinted, I did not like the look of the black ones, they are included if one wants to re install.
Why did you take the rock guards off?
What happened to your second key?
Bid in the amount of $91,000
A simple question was asked: provide the records from the dealership that did the suspension repair. While the story about the 997 is great, it’s not helping me decide if I should place a bid on this car. Can you please post more info than an often inaccurate carfax?
Bid in the amount of $90,250
@Thej22, you can privately message me. there is a contact seller tab in vehicle description in beginning of auction.

@Pbuckley12, the buyback was from a suspension rattle, the lower control arm making noise, due to covid the part was on back order and not available, Porsche bought the car back, when the part came in, they bolted it on, and now car is back on market. The car still has its factory warranty.
Why is it a lemon buyback? What was the issue ?
had a 997 Turbo with the Mezger motor, black black stick, had it tuned with custom exhaust, owned that car for 5 years, just sold it to a buddy, that was a phenomenal car, that made crazy #'s on the dyno. I have never driven a better car than the 997 Turbo, until the moment I drove this car. This is one truly amazing piece of machinery, the words that came to my mouth when I first drove this car was, It is Blisteringly FAST! The car is violent with an amazing level of control and safety, making this the best car I have ever driven, and I have owned and driven many. Im surprised at the positive attention, smiles, and thumbs up car gets when driving, attention getter anywhere you take it, even with all the amazing cars we have in Scottsdale.
This is truly one of the ultimate driver cars ever produced, a few videos have been added to auction as well.

$232k it's supposed to be in the pics if not I'll post it, great question, btw
how much is the sticker price?
Bid in the amount of $75,000
@ricm, you are looking at a retail ad when we first posted the car. Carfax is correct, we obtained the car from Porsche North America, not offer up. Thank you for asking, hope this provides clarity. The buyback should not affect insurance or financing.
Will the buyback title affect insurance access and/or cost? How about financing?
Need some clarification: was this sold five months ago via OfferUp? The VinAudit was clean with no mention of the buyback. And the sales isn't reflected via Carfax. Thanks!
The turbo is available for showings anytime
@jvuong, feel free to PM me for my contact information

@seller you're listed as a dealer. Which dealer are you selling it under?
@jcardenas, Im not sure I understand your question, but, safe to assume the lower control arm was replaced.
@WGris, Im guessing what your looking at is the shape of the front spoiler when lowered, in certain drive settings, the car will lower ride height, rear spoiler raises and front spoiler lowers.
Beautiful Turbo S Seller! Can you please identify the jagged shadow at the bottom middle of image #25? Maybe just road wear on the front lip spoiler?
Greetings. I see the buyback on the CARFAX as well as the issue as reported but no mention of the actual manufacturer repair. Could you please provide any documentation specific to the repairs? Thank you
2 keys with sale
@fastandloud29, the buyback including the issue repaired is noted on posted Carfax report.
@fast930turbo Can you share any paperwork from Porsche proving this?
Bid in the amount of $25,000
hello and good morning fellow enthusiasts, regarding the Porsche, the buyback was from a suspension rattle, the lower control arm making noise, due to covid the part was on back order and not available, Porsche bought the car back, when the part came in, they bolted it on, and now car is back on market. The car still has its factory warranty. btw, I have 2 keys for the car, not 1 as mentioned. This car is spotless, and likely the most exhilarating car most of us will ever drive.
@fast930turbo Would it be possible to get more details on the suspension rattle and subsequent lemon law issue and what the root cause was and resolution? I am sure this was frustrating to the owner.
