The Triumph Bonneville, tracing its roots to the 1950s, has attained widespread acclaim as a quintessential symbol of British motorcycling. This example was selected as Gold Line edition along with an optional windscreen and side panniers. Showing approximately 1,400 miles on the odometer, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Missouri.
This Bonneville Speedmaster’s tubular steel twin-cradle frame was selected with a silver finish accented with gold and black tripes as part of the Gold Edition. Optional equipment includes a Longhaul windscreen and dual waxed cotton panniers. It rides on 16” 32-spoke wire wheels dressed in Avon Cobra tires in like-new condition. Equipment includes LED lighting, a single-dial analog speedometer with a multi-function LCD display, cruise control with single button operation, swept-back beach bars and forward foot controls, and an immobilizer transponder built into the key. Power is derived from a 1200cc “High Torque” parallel twin engine. As much as 76.9 HP and 78.2 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheel through a 6-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a wet, multi-plate toque-assist clutch, chromed stainless steel exhaust system with chromed stainless silencers, Showa cartridge forks with preload-adjustable hidden mono-shock RSU, Brembo 2-piston front brakes, and a Nissin single-piston rear brake. Additionally, two riding modes (Road and Rain) are provided.
