Available for auction is a limited edition 1:12 scale model Mercedes Benz 300SL. Only 1,000 of these limited-edition 1:12 scale models were built by Franklin Mint, with this particular one #635/1,000. The model is constructed of solid pewter, weighs approximately 15 lbs. and features many unique details such as dashboard gauges, switchgear, chromed door handles, a full engine bay, and more. The seats are upholstered in genuine leather and the tires are rubber. Additional features include spring-loaded doors, a forward-opening hood, and a plastic windscreen. The model comes with a wood base and a numbered plaque. The seller states the model is in excellent condition and comes in the original velvet-lined box with an owner’s manual, hood opening tool and Certificate of Authenticity. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

Do you have a better picture of the dashboard that is in focus similar to picture 10, but focused on the dashboard not the rear of the car like picture 10 is?
Yes. That’s where it would go. Obviously, you could get one made.
Is the missing plate supposed to go on the plate holder on the front of the model base shown in the first picture?

The reserve is off. As you can see the model is in exceptional condition. There is a plate the has the number of the car 635/1000 that I can’t locate. Every other piece of paper, box and packaging is included. I just want to note that in full disclosure.
