Using this powertrain, the Carrera S is capable of accelerating from 0-60 in approximately 6.3 seconds while reaching top speeds of up to 168 MPH. I was the winning bidder on “Tipper” over the summer at just about the same high bid here. “Lulu” didn’t have the courtesy after my request to text, email or call me for further negotiations. She thinks it’s a 100K car.

Since my husband passed and I sold his 98 cab Carrara I really didn’t drive Tipper much. We would go to PORSCHE events, taking both cars and I kinda felt bad so yes to answer about not putting many miles on the car that’s the reason.

I have owned Tipper for 12 years along with my late husband. Before that it belonged to a GERMAN fellow in Newport Beach Ca. Tipper is a 22 year old like new car. I’ve shown her in many PCA concourse in Ca. she has always been scrutinized buy porsche experts and Aways been a top winner. Tipper has always been serviced by the same mechanic at NAC in Newport Beach Ca. On a scale from 1-100 Tipper is a strong 99 by PCA judges standards. I have always loved Tippers Rear End nothing like a CarreraS Butt.

@Love2bugs You definitely don’t have to be a previous porsche owner to buy and appreciate this car. I owned a 69 Indi Pacer before buying Tipper and this little red beauty changed my love of cars from Chevy to Porsche.
I’m happy you saw tipper at Irvine Porsche, they are taking good care of her, I moved to Laguna Woods and I can visit Tipper as often as I want.

Beautiful car looks to be an excellent condition is the paint 100 % original. Sold my last Porsche to my neighbor was a 08 cab about eight years ago and getting the bug for another one I love the 993 two previous 993 97 tip and 97 turbo very happy with the tip.

our condolences for your huband's passing. BEAUTIFUL CAR ! being an S, the overall condition, and the care it has received (as evidenced by photos), this 'tipper' should pull top dollar. many of us actually prefer tips now due to the FACT that our birth years are disappearing quickly in the rear view mirrors. hips, knees, ankles are all showing signs of use, abuse and misuse!!! i will watch bidding cheerfully but will try not to join in as my plate is full. but i did just build another garage... mmmmm....

This is my little Guards Red 993, named “Tipper”. My late husband bought her for me on my birthday in 2008. We bought a tip for me to drive an concourse as I had an issue with my ankle, couldn’t drive a stick. Tipper is my baby but I moved to a new home that doesn’t have adequate garage space for her and she needs a new home. LuLu
