Available for auction is this 1935 Rolls-Royce 20/25 finished in blue over a matching interior. This two-door coupe is said to have lived in Canada since 2004 under the care of its current owner. The unique full aluminum bodywork is laid over a wood frame and was completed by Park Ward featuring a sunroof panel. This late model 20/25 offers numerous improvements over its predecessors including a newer “cat’s back” carburetor, high lift cams, hydraulic shocks, revised transmission, larger radiator, and an electric fuel gauge. The inline six-cylinder engine was rebuilt within the last 7k miles and was fitted with a new cylinder head. Now, this Rolls-Royce is being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.

The unique Park Ward coachwork is crafted from aluminum over a wood frame and is finished in blue paint.  Details include a sunroof, reverse-hinged doors, chrome brightwork, a Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, and a matching fender-mounted spare. It rides on a set of Dunlop wire wheels covered with optional ACE body-colored aluminum discs and Excelsior Stahl Sport tires.

The front and rear seats are trimmed in blue leather with matching door panels and carpets accented by polished wood veneers. Features include a four-spoke steering wheel, Rolls-Royce–branded gauges, and manual winding windows.

Power comes from a 3.7-liter inline 6-cylinder engine which was reportedly rebuilt within the last 7k miles including the fitting of a new cylinder head. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed manual transmission. The seller notes that the vacuum tank is present but not in use, the fuel tank was rebuilt and coated, and twin independent SU fuel pumps have been fitted in the rear.

This Rolls-Royce is offered with some original tools, spare parts, and a bill of sale.

@harryclark Part 2 : Oil pressure readings: Idling 7-8 ; warm 22, as per factory’s Specs. No smoke ; sunroof works beautifully, as it should ; No leak. THIS RR comes with Owner’s manual. Books & Records.

@harryclark Thanks for your Bid Harry and thanks for those great questions. Part 1 follows. Part 2 I have to validate with owner. As You and I know: a RollsRoyce of that Era is an Engine, bolted to a chassis. Coach builder selected by first owner, took care of the rest. ParkWard here. How many times the interior was redone, Reupholstered, and by Who. After so many decades, A trivia only God knows the answers. Multiple pictures in the Gallery show the interior. It is fine, imho. It will be Winner’s prerogative to maintain or replace by something different. Your plan: The Plan. Part 2 will follow. Stay tuned…

The front seats do not look correct. Do you have any info on the source of the front seats? What is the oil pressure reading when warm and idling? Maybe we can see a photo of the instruments at idle and warm? Is there smoke coming from the exhaust? I can't tell from the video. Also, the hardware for the sunroof is modern. Does the sunroof work well and are there leaks? Thank you!!

Looks like a RR Hot Rod..love it..what a beauty..but sadly way out of my meager league. I do hope it gets driven not just put on display. The public needs to see spectacular vehicles like this in motion.
