The Silver Metallic finish on this Speedster is shown to be in very nice driver-grade condition with some minor signs of wear (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).  Design features include chrome headlight rings, dual chrome mirrors, a black cloth cabriolet top and side windows.  A standout among other replicas, this example has been equipped with genuine 16” Polished 5-spoke Fuchs wheels with Porsche emblem hubcaps.

Any tags, data plates or impressed name in the body? I know you have no build records but there should be some clues on the body.

I honestly have no idea why the title is listed as rebuilt, I would assume the donor car was totaled somehow either theft recovery or accident I just can't say. I know in some states, like AZ, it could have been titled as a 57 Porsche. We did not rebuild the car nor did we get any build receipts so I can not attest to who did what when. What we do know today is the pan is straight and solid, the drive line runs superb and it goes down the highway as it should, probably better than an original but of course not the mystique. Unfortunately, with a lot of these kit cars there isn't a huge pedigree available sometimes we get lucky with that but unfortunately that is not the case with this one. Thanks

In addition to the When it was built question, it would be helpful to know Who built it and some basics on the origin of the build such as the material used for the body? Thanks!

    When was the car built?

  • rafa_p911 3 yearsago

Hi, the car looks awesome. What is the reason for the rebuilt title?
