Up for auction is this 1957 Porsche 356A Speedster replica by Vintage Speedsters finished in Ruby Red over a tan leather interior.  Since 1987, Vintage Speedsters has been regarded as one of the most high-quality manufacturers of vintage Porsche replicas.  Based on a custom tubular steel frame with handcrafted bodywork, this example is titled as a 1967 Volkswagen and carries an air-cooled 1900cc flat-four dual-carbureted engine paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox.  With a comprehensive recent service carried out in preparation for sale, this professionally built Speedster replica is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing just over 8k miles on the odometer.

The handcrafted fiberglass bodywork is finished in the classic period-correct shade of Ruby Red.  Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery.  This example features proper Speedster emblems, collectible grille badges, exterior brightwork, headlight guards, and chrome 15" ventilated wheels that were recently dressed in a set of brand-new tires.  A full tan convertible top is also equipped along with a matching tonneau cover and detachable side windows.

Inside, you will find a Porsche 356-style interior trimmed in tan leather and classic square weave carpeting.  Some other notable features include comfort-style Speedster seats, a wood-rimmed 3-spoke steering wheel, a Porsche-crested shift knob, footwell heater vents, and a modern Pioneer Premier sound system with USB/MP3/iPod compatibility.

Power comes from an air-cooled VW-derived 1900cc flat-four dual-carbureted engine that sends power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission.  Other mechanical features include a dual sport exhaust, front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and a front-end stabilizer bar.  Recent maintenance carried out by the seller includes the installation of new valve cover gaskets, a new battery, and a new oil pan and filter.

This sale will include a spare tire, detachable side windows, and a rebuilt title for a 1967 Volkswagen.  Offering iconic 356 styling with increased performance and added modern conveniences, this Vintage Speedsters replica awaits its next owner.

Is this vehicle still for sale via the auction process. And, are there options to test drive the vehicle prior to final sale meaning sale contingent upon drive and visual review.

@TNT The title and VIN for this car have nothing to do with this cars current or previous condition. The car is a hand built kit car. Often times builders acquire the VIN and title from a car that is totaled (for a very inexpensive price) so that they can apply it to their kit car and have an actual VIN and title recognized by all 50 states.

@prezauto1 Looks like you've got the sidescreens on backwards...switch them on the doors and they will probably fit better.
