From 1956 until 1963, Mannesmann AG produced the Porsche-Diesel series of tractors out of the former Zeppelin factory in Friedrichshafen-Manzell, Germany, based on Dr. Ferdinand Porsche's distinctive pre-war designs. The Junior 108L was the most compact and economical of the range, equipped with an 822cc single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine. This 1958 example was acquired by the seller approximately two years ago and is reported to have undergone a full restoration. It is now being offered for auction out of Kentucky.
This Porsche Junior 108L is said to have been restored and refinished in red along with cream-colored 16”/24” wheels and a matching seat. Details include chrome-finished Porsche Diesel and Junior emblems, round headlights, a black 3-spoke steering wheel, and a storage tray atop the left wheel arch. Additional images are provided in the gallery and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
Power comes from an air-cooled single-cylinder 822cc diesel engine that produces 14 HP at 2250 RPM and is paired with a dual-range 3-epicyclic 3-speed transmission with high and low ranges. One of the key attributes of the Porsche tractors was the smoother shifting capability facilitated by hydraulic coupling between the engine and transmission. The seller reports the tractor has been fully restored and there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.

I’m excited to offer this beautifully restored 1958 Porsche - Diesel Junior Tractor L108. Had a lot of fun taking it to tractor shows and talking with people that had never seen a Porsche tractor before. Everything works as it should.
