This 1963 Porsche 356B Coupe was completed on September 4, 1962, as a 1963 model for the U.S. market, with coachwork by Karmann of Osnabruck. Introduced in 1962, the T6 variant was the last iteration of the 356B. This example was factory optioned with an Ivory (6204) finish over a Black leatherette interior and is accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity showing matching engine and transmission numbers. This 356B is now being offered for auction showing approximately 83k miles on the odometer.
This example comes refinished in its factory Ivory (6204) color, and the side window frames have been re-chromed. The 15” slotted wheels are fitted with refinished chrome hubcaps are mounted with new Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The seller notes some minor imperfections which are more present toward the underside of the vehicle and the side edge of the driver’s door, along with very slight oxidation in some areas including the door handle.
The interior is appointed with Black leatherette which has been professionally reupholstered. The seller notes slight imperfections beneath the dashboard, updated carpeting has been fitted, and the dashboard appears to retain its original finish. Additionally, the gauges are reported to be working properly.
This 356B carries its original 1600cc flat-four engine, sending power to the rear wheels by way of a 4-speed manual transmission. The accompanying Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows the chassis (211525), engine (609340), and transmission (58129) numbers. A major service is said to have been carried out in 2020 including an oil and filter change including sump gaskets, repairs and adjustments to the carburetor linkage, valves adjusted, and newly installed items including brake drums and shoes, fuel hoses and filter, front sway bar bushings, new front and rear shocks, and a new windshield seal. The seller adds that a minor oil leak has not yet been attended to.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
The seller wants you to know: "The current state of this lovely Porsche is exactly the way it was originally built. On the road, this T6 B is tons of fun with an engine that runs very well and feels like it has more than 60 HP. The gearbox shifts easily and doesn't need any special attention. The brakes, which are new, stop the car easily and keep it going straight. In short, this is a very good driver that is matching numbers throughout and is priced attractively."

@AlphaOneMotors If you would removed the spare tire and take a few pictures around battery area would be nice. The one picture of the spare tire with the hood open 5 feet away doesn't really help to see any prior damage, thank you

@johnnyv555 We have determined that the car has developed a brake fluid leak. We are replacing the master cylinder and as well as a brake flush with new fluid. This will be completed before the vehicle sets off to its new owner.
