This 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce was acquired by the seller out of California in 2015 and subsequently underwent a custom GTA-style restoration including an upgraded twin-spark 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four engine featuring dual Weber 45 DCOE carburetors. The car also received a 5-speed manual transmission with an upgraded Alfaholics clutch kit as well as KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and sport springs, drilled rear trailing arms, four-wheel disc brakes, and a full stainless-steel exhaust system. A faithful tribute to the iconic Alfa Romeo GTA, this professionally built and maintained 1967 Giulia is now being offered for auction by the Wilson Collection out of Florida.

During its restoration, this Giulia was fitted with wider rear wheel arches as well as an aluminum hood and trunk lid, chrome bumpers, lightweight Lexan rear and side windows, a GTA-style front grille and door handles, and a Sebring-style driver’s side mirror. The car was refinished in its current shade of red and decorated with Quadrifoglio badges on the front fenders. It rides on silver 15” GTA-style alloy wheels dressed in 175/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires from 2016. The seller indicates some metal repair work was done during the restoration and the trunk pan was replaced with a new custom fabricated piece. A fuel cell was added to the trunk. Some damage is noted on the bottom of the driver’s side quarter panel as well as some minor stone chips on the rockers. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The black interior has been modified in GTA fashion with a Corsa-style driver’s bucket seat and Stradale-style seating for the passenger and rear bench. It was also fitted with an Autodelta-style fiberglass dashboard, a GTA-style steering wheel, grey vinyl GTA-style door panels, front lap belts, Alfa Romeo branded floor mats, and a fire suppression system. The gauges are said to have been refurbished by the experts at North Hollywood Speedometer and the seller confirms all instrumentation and accessories are fully functional. The seller adds that some areas of the footwells are not covered by carpeting and show exposed insulation.

Power comes from a replacement 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four engine which features twin-spark ignition, dual Weber 45 DCOE carburetors, an Autodelta-style air box, and a tubular exhaust manifold paired with an Alfaholics stainless steel exhaust system. Other upgrades include an auxiliary oil cooler, an aluminum radiator, and an oil catch can. The engine was reportedly overhauled by Savannah Race Engineering of Savannah, Georgia, under current ownership. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transmission with an upgraded Alfaholics Fast Road/Rally clutch kit featuring a Tilton 6000-series hydraulic release bearing. Stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes including cross-drilled and slotted front rotors. The suspension features KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and sport as well as an aluminum T-bar, drilled spring pans, and rear trailing arms. Over 100 records detailing the car’s restoration, maintenance, and modifications will accompany the sale.

This sale will include a clean title and extensive documentation.

The seller would like you to know: “This is an awesome lightweight GTV. Someone who is okay with a little sorting will enjoy this car. It's fast and a blast to drive.”

    @UnlawfullyFree that verbiage is coming from the PCar team probably to protect themselves. The engine was completely overhauled.

    What is "engine was reportedly overhauled" mean? Was it overhauled or is it unverified?

    @WCRookie99 it is the exhaust. The rear most exhaust hanger is custom because it is mounted to the custom trunk pan and it is a little flimsy.

  • WilsonCollection (seller) 8 months, 1 weekago

    @Raylev911 the rear trunk pan, the little damaged spot on the bottom of the quarter in the picture, and the driver's door seal could use replacement. Of course these things don't have to be done, but I imagine most people would want to.

  • WilsonCollection (seller) 8 months, 1 weekago

    @danimal5225 yes it was.
