The second generation of Chevrolet’s Corvette sports car, the C2 was the first to bear the Stingray namesake and debuted a new chassis with improved steering, brakes, and suspension. This 1967 convertible was factory finished in Rally Red over a red vinyl interior and was equipped with a 327ci L79 V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a 370R Positraction rear axle along with power steering, a tinted windshield, and a side-mount exhaust system. This Corvette is said to have undergone a frame-off restoration by the Verillo team at Prestige Motor Car that was completed in 2012 while retaining its original numbers-matching drivetrain. Having traveled less than 1k miles since the restoration, this 1967 Corvette is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Missouri.
The body is finished in Rally Red (974) with a white convertible top and is said to have been professionally repainted in its factory color during the restoration. Equipment includes split chrome bumpers, pop-up headlights, a tinted windshield, a polished windscreen surround, a driver’s side chrome mirror, vent windows, front fender vents, and optional side-mounted exhaust pipes. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, including photos taken during the restoration. The 15” turbine-style wheels are mounted with Coker Classic Redline tires.
The interior has been reupholstered in red vinyl with matching carpeting and stainless-steel trim. Amenities include manual windows, a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, a vertically mounted AC Delco AM/FM radio, a polished ball shifter, a locking Corvette-branded glovebox, and an analog clock in the center stack. The seller states all instrumentation and accessories are in proper working order.
This Corvette was factory equipped with a 327ci L79 V8 which was reportedly rebuilt during the restoration. Equipped with a single four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air filter housing, and finned Corvette-branded valve covers, the L79 was factory rated at 350 HP and 360 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear axle. Engine stamping 115567 matches the last six digits of the chassis number as shown in the gallery, and the HT suffix corresponds with an L79 327ci engine equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and a four-speed manual transmission. The undercarriage has been sandblasted and refinished, and the steering, suspension, and brake components are all said to have been replaced during the restoration.
This sale will include a clean title, the original tank sticker, and the owner’s manuals.

Good morning, I need to follow up on some Q&A below. The listing states "original numbers matching drivetrain". Admittedly I am no expert at deciphering the numbers. Can you please confirm one way or another that the entire drivetrain is original and correct.....tranny and rear end? How about the manifold and carb? Is the transmission an M20, 21, 22? Thanks!

Do you have pictures of the rear end code, and casting dates?
Based on the tank sticker, looks like you added the PB. The Master Cylinder should have a stamp on the machined surface. Do you have that photo? Two different MC based on power and non power brakes.
Based on the tank sticker, car came with a hard top. Do you have that?

I am very familiar with the 67 C2, having spent 15 yeare "restoring" a '67 427/435 hp car with HD suspension, HD brakes, etc, Then sold it 15 years ago to the original buyer, who bought it on the personal recommendations of ZORA, who he met at a bar in Hawaii in 1963, and Zora (and wife) gave him recommendations on what to specify. As bought, it had been wrecked and stripped ov engine, trans and interior parts, so I had to source all that to do the rebuild. I never painted it the correct yellow and didn't want to drive and get the underbody dirty. Sold it at about $100k under fully restored value 15 years ago.. Now I want another nice '67 as a reminder of my car.

I've had some questions from private messages that I would like to answer for the bidders.
Everything on the car is in proper working order, all gauges, head lights tail lights turn signals brake lights and clock, no leaks and doesn't over heat.
Car was born red and is complete with two original tank stickers (which I didn't realize and not on the listing but have been sent to Pcar for them to add)
It will say Kelsey Hayes on the inside of the wheel and the date of manufacture. Big difference between originals and reproduction. Thank you.
