This 1967 Chevrolet Impala was acquired by the seller from its prior owner out of Texas in December 2022 and has since undergone extensive refurbishment and upgrades. It was previously restored by Brian Maupin of Maupin Metal in Dallas Texas as a tribute to the Impala featured on the television show Supernatural, and features the star of the show’s signature on the glovebox. Under current ownership, the car was repainted and received all-new leather seat upholstery as well as a new Holley Sniper EFI fuel system, rear disc brakes, a new X-pipe exhaust system, Ridetech coilover suspension, a new 12-bolt rear end, and a rebuilt 4-speed 4L60E transmission. Powered by a rebuilt 327ci V8 engine, this Impala is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia.

This Imapala was refinished in the current shade of red under the prior ownership. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, door handles, and wheel arch trim, polished mirrors and body side moldings, dual custom fabricated tailpipes, Impala badging on the rear fenders, and aftermarket chrome wheels dressed in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. The seller describes the paint to be in good overall condition with some imperfections noted including drip marks below the passenger doors and a scratch near the rear wheel trim on the driver’s side. The undercarriage is also said to be in very good condition while only showing rust on the exhaust mufflers. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The tan interior was recently refurbished with all-new black leather seat upholstery, new trim pieces, and a rebuilt rear bench seat. It has been fitted with upgraded speakers, a subwoofer, and a Bluetooth audio receiver as well as a Ravelco anti-theft device and a digital screen for the Holley Sniper EFI system. The glovebox was personally signed by Jensen Ackles, star of the Supernatural TV show. Accessories include manual window cranks, lap belts, rubber floor mats, brushed aluminum dashboard trim, and a black leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel. Some signs of age are noted and the seller reports all gauges are fully functional.

Power comes from a rebuilt 327ci V8 engine which was recently upgraded with a Holley Sniper EFI fuel injection system and mated to a rebuilt 4-speed 4L60E automatic transmission with a performance driveshaft and a new 12-bolt rear end. A new X-pipe exhaust system was also installed along with rear disc brakes, a new Ridetech coilover suspension, new brake lines, fuel lines, a new gas tank, and a new fuel pump. Front disc brakes were installed under previous ownership and invoices are included for the recent service and upgrades totaling over $40k. The seller notes the new EFI fuel system is running lean at times as it is still in the “learning” phase.

This sale will include a collection of records and a registration.

The seller would like you to know: “This car has been extensively upgraded recently since its rebuild under previous ownership just prior to 2019. It now has all the right upgrades that will put the next owner in a perfect place to do what they want with the vehicle. Drive her as is or do an LS swap if you'd like. The vehicle has an all-new suspension, a new rebuilt drivetrain, a new rebuilt 4-speed auto transmission, rear differential, and front and rear disc brakes. It is really set up to be your next classic muscle car to drive as is or continue to build it up to a beautiful resto-mod. I am happy to answer any questions and good luck to all bidders.”

@Eternalfire145 sorry, but the auction is here for this reason to bid on the vehicle. If not sold here then a sale could be discussed after the auction ends. Pcarmarket would assist in the communication I believe after the auction ends.

@Shazzam4242 how much are ya wanting for her ?

  • Shazzam4242 (seller) 8 monthsago

@Eternalfire145 That’s how the car was purchased originally. If you’re looking for good loan options for a classic car I would suggest JJ Best or LightStream as some good options.

  • Eternalfire145 (registered bidder) 8 monthsago

I'd get a loan to get this car. Been looking for a fat minute hopefully price able and affordable

Thank you for viewing my listing if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I am here to be completely transparent about my experience and ownership of this vehicle and looking to find a good home for her. I have decided to sell her as I’m on to my next project vehicle as well and although I’d like to keep her there just isn’t that much room in the driveway anymore.
