This 1967 Ford Mustang underwent a custom restoration as a tribute to the iconic Eleanor Shelby GT500. The project was completed by Innovation Performance Technologies of North Carolina and includes an Eleanor-style body kit by Mustangs to Fear as well as a custom-built 347 stroker small block V8 with forged pistons, Ford Performance aluminum heads, a SCAT steel crank, and a Holley Sniper EFI fuel system. The car is also equipped with Koni shocks, Maier Racing springs, Wilwood disc brakes, a performance power-steering system, Dakota OEM-style gauges, an Old Air Products A/C system, and an ATI Performance transmission with paddle shifters, an ATI Lock Up torque converter, and a 9” Currie Ford rear end. The car was commissioned by the original owner specifically to participate in the 2021 Power Tour and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.

This Ford has been fitted with a replica Eleanor GT500 steel body kit by Mustangs to Fear. It features an Eleanor-style front bumper, hood, fender flares, rocker panels, front driving lights, and side air scoops. Other details include side-exit exhaust pipes, hood pins, a fender-mounted antenna, and double black racing stripes. The car rides on black painted US Mag wheels with polished outer rims and Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 tires.

The restored black vinyl interior includes a pair of adjustable front bucket seats, a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, a custom gear selector console, and column-mounted shift paddles. Other features include custom OEM-style Dakota gauges with inset digital displays, an Old Air Products air conditioning system, a column-mounted gear indicator, center console cup holders, a digital Holley Sniper EFI controller, and a touchscreen head unit with a backup camera, Bluetooth, and navigation.

Power comes from a custom-built Ford 347 stroker small block V8 featuring forged 9.5:1 pistons, roller cam and rockers, Ford Performance aluminum heads, a SCAT steel crankshaft, a serpentine drive system, Brown & Miller Racing Solutions fuel lines, and a Holley Sniper EFI fuel injection kit. The rear wheels are driven through an ATI Performance 4-speed automatic transmission with an ATI Lock Up torque converter, a Performance Products driveshaft, and a 9” Currie Ford rear end. A performance power steering system has also been installed along with Wilwood disc brakes, Koni performance shocks, and Maier lower control arms, frame connectors, and performance springs.
