A classic British sports car, the MGB was originally produced under the MG brand by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) from 1963 to 1968. This 1967 MGB Roadster is said to be a lifelong California car with 49 years of unbroken ownership. The car has earned various concours awards and is accompanied by MG Club loyal membership items as well as its original black license plates. This MG is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This MGB is said to have been completely refinished in its original British Racing Green color and features chrome bumpers and body moldings as well as a chrome windscreen frame and a polished fender-mounted mirror on the driver’s side. The car is equipped with a black convertible top and a matching tonneau cover as well as MG club grille badges and factory 14” chrome wire spoke wheels dressed in Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The seller notes a few small cosmetic blemishes are present and the tires are a bit old, although the paint and chrome trim are very well presented. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is lined with black loop carpeting and features leather seats with deviated white piping and matching door panels. Accessories include a wooden MG gear knob, a woodgrain dashboard and loudspeaker fascia, rubber MG branded floor mats, polished door handles and window rollers, analog Smiths gauges, a cruise control button, an overdrive switch, a heater control knob, an aftermarket Kenwood cassette stereo, and a three-spoke Banjo-style steering wheel with an MG crested horn button and a perforated black leather wrap. The seller notes a small crack is present on the dashboard and the trip odometer is currently inoperable.
Up to 95 HP and 110 lb.-ft of comes from a BMC B-Series inline-4 engine with a 1,798cc displacement and twin SU carburetors. The seller notes a later-model 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive has been installed and the car was recently serviced including rebuilt carburetors.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a spare wheel, a battery charger, some records, and a clean title.

@ShiftingCars to answer your specific question on the "cruise control" everything appears to be connected properly, however I'm not able to get it to work. Which I have no idea the possible parameters for this aftermarket system

@ShiftingCars the switch above the oil/water gauge is fhe head light switch. And the overdrive and accessories appear to be all connected and functioning properly

@bigvitty4u the 67 B came with lever shocks and it looks like this one has been converted to use tube shocks. So I was wondering if a specific kit was used or if it was a custom install?

@srodgrg hello and good morning. I will try and get out to the car and put the top on as soon as possible. I will also double confirm on the polarity of the car. But I do believe it's been converted.
Could you post some photos with the top up in place?
Also, is the car negative or positive earth now?
