The Triumph TR6R Tiger was a popular motorcycle that belonged to the Triumph TR6 series, which was known for its combination of classic British styling, versatile performance abilities, and reliability. Powered by a 650cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine, this 1967 TR6R Tiger comes finished in dual-tone green & white with chrome brightwork. This Tiger comes finished in a combination of green and white with prominent chrome brightwork along the handlebars, Triumph-specific badging, and exhaust pipes, as well as a matching rear-view mirror. The rider is provided with a low-slung black vinyl saddle as well as dual instrumentation with chrome bezels mounted ahead of the handlebars. The TR6R is powered by an air-cooled 649cc parallel-twin engine featuring twin Amal carburetors. The rear wheel is driven through a 4-sped manual transmission. Equipment includes front telescopic forks, rear twin shock absorbers, and drum brakes. The seller states an electronic ignition has been installed, and service items carried out within the last two years have totaled approximately $4,700, as shown in documentation within the gallery.

TR-6 Triumphs with their single carb have to be among the sweetest in the world. I always loved an original paint example of the 67. I still regret selling mine years ago. GLWA.

@rickmilligan928 Hi there! I as far as we know gas tank has not been painted during our ownership and let’s just assume at some point it was.
Was the gas tank repainted?? Other modifications?

We owned a classic car dealership that also sold classic bikes so I was able to buy virtually anything short of a jet-powered Y2K to ride around on. Bought my first bike ('69 Norton 750 Commando) while a senior in high school and never stopped enjoying the hobby. BTW, that Y2K still fascinates me... lol.
