The result of a custom build performed by the seller over the last year, this 1969 BMW 2002 features an E30 M3-sourced S14 inline-four engine and an E30 5-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. The car has been refinished in Alpine White with light blue vinyl accents and equipped with an Ireland Engineering widebody kit, E21-sourced Recaro front seats, E24-sourced rear seats, a microsuede-wrapped Personal steering wheel, SpeedHut instrumentation, 13″ Minilite-style wheels, custom fabricated exhaust system, BC Racing front coilovers, and Bilstein rear shocks. Driven sparingly since completion of the build, this modified BMW 2002 is now being offered for auction out of California.

This 2002 has been fitted with an Ireland Engineering widebody kit, a Kooglewerks front air dam, Ireland Engineering inner headlight covers, and Euro-style signal lights. The body has been refinished in Alpine White with light blue vinyl accents applied to the upper fenders and door panels, hood, front air dam, and trunk lid. The chrome moldings have been removed and the chrome rear bumper has been replaced along with the front and rear windshields, mirrors, door handles, kidney grilles, and taillight lenses. The car rides on 13” Minilite-style wheels dressed in new Toyo Proxes R888R tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin has been redone with new carpeting, headliner, door panels, rear side panels, and black E21-sourced Recaro seats with houndstooth inserts. Matching E24-sourced rear seats have been installed along with a microsuede-wrapped Personal steering wheel, an Alpina-crested gear knob, and a replacement instrument cluster featuring SpeedHut gauges with a digital odometer.

Power comes from an E30 M3-sourced 2.3-liter S14 inline-four engine. The rear wheels are driven through an E30 5-speed manual transmission with a new clutch, a custom fabricated driveshaft, and an E21 limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with a custom fabricated exhaust system including a Magnaflow muffler as well as BC Racing front coilovers, Bilstein rear dampers, and Volvo-sourced front brake calipers. The battery has also been relocated to the trunk to optimize weight distribution.

This sale will include a clean title.
