This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS is finished in white over blue leather upholstery and includes the rare fold-down back seat option. Under the hood, it boasts an LS6 engine from a 2003 Corvette Z06, paired with a 4-speed 700r4 automatic transmission. Equipped with hideaway headlights, chrome trim, RS taillights, and more, this Camaro is now being offered for auction once again on PCARMARKET by its seller out of Iowa accompanied by its running 327ci V8 engine.
Finished in white, this Camaro features hideaway headlights, a distinctive grille, revised taillights, reverse lights positioned below the rear bumper, and chrome trim as part of the RS trim package. Modifications include a European-style front bumper and aftermarket 17” wheels. The seller notes minor chips that have been professionally repaired, along with a small tear in the vinyl top that has been carefully glued back together. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the driver is situated within a blue interior featuring the rare fold-down back seat option. The blue leather upholstered front bucket seats and rear bench are complemented by wood grain trim, along with a black dashboard and carpets. Equipment includes Dakota gauges, roll-up windows, a vintage-style replacement radio, and a Vintage Air unit for climate control.
This Camaro has been fitted with a 5.7-liter LS6 V8 engine from a 2003 Corvette Z06, generating as much as 405 HP and 405 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 4-speed 700r4 automatic transmission with overdrive. The seller states that the engine was rebuilt and installed at 115,000 miles, with approximately 3,000 miles driven since then. It features a RideTech suspension with front coilovers and all-new brake lines. Photos of the underside are provided in the gallery. Additionally, the original running 327ci small-block engine is said to accompany the sale on a stand.
This sale will include a clean title, some documentation, the original engine with a stand, and a collection of spare parts.
The seller would like you to know: “I purchased this car a year ago from the builder who I believe had recently completed it after approximately 8 years of work on the suspension, engine, drivetrain, and gauges. I've driven it around 200 miles, and it’s been stored in my climate-controlled showroom. The car runs and drives like a dream, offering the perfect balance of power and performance. It’s quick, responsive, and incredibly comfortable to drive.”

Down to the last hour on the auction. Please let me know if you have any last minute questions. As a collector I ship a lot and we be available to help get the car loaded for transport. Clean Iowa title in my name so its a easy transaction. Don't miss out on this clean 69' RS as Its getting harder to find real original sheet metal 69' Camaros especially a real RS! Also, with the upgraded drive train and tubular control arms and cold A/C this 69' RS can be driven anywhere very comfortably. Happy bidding!
@marshall_lewis I’m a collector of survivor vehicles and have had over 50 1st gen Camaros. Anytime I see a car with original floors like this they are usually dented up from someone shoving a jack or a block of wood underneath them to raise them up. Most people don’t know that they are sub frames. The floor pans are definitely not twisted as the doors would not shut right and nothing would align. It’s a dent that someone pushed up and then pushed back down from my experience most likely from jacking. The best part of this car is it’s never been rusty or cut up. I’d rather have original floor pans with a few dents then new floor pans that were cut and because the car was so rusty, but that’s my opinion. Please let me know if you have any other questions
You can’t build this car for 125 k , and it will take 2 years for the build, maybe that’s just the guys I’ve dealt with. It’s a great driving car, will not be disappointed
Do you know how or why both sides of the floor are so twisted as shown in the undercarriage photos?
