Up for Auction is this collector-grade 1969 Porsche 911 S Coupe.  Of all 911s, the desirable ”S” coupes are among the most collectible for their exhilarating driving character, advanced engineering and iconic styling. This 911 S has benefited from a high level, award winning restoration by Porsche enthusiast and respected PCA judge, Tom Scott.  It is now being offered out of a collection in Beverly Hills, CA in turn-key condition.

Since the completion of the restoration in 2008, this car has accumulated only 5,000 miles of careful use and proper maintenance. This 911S was entered in the prestigious PCA Parade Concours d’Elegance in Keystone, Colorado where it was featured in the early 911 Touring class.  After the judges has determined a score of 233.2 out of a possible 235 points, this car was awarded first in Class, an impressive accolade in one of the most competitive Porsche shows in the country.

The stunning Burgundy paint is stated to be in excellent condition with virtually no flaws.  The condition of all of the chrome and rubber seals are as you would expect on a car of this stature.

The elegant Tan leather interior is stated to be in like new condition. The leather seats are tastefully complimented by Hound’s-tooth fabric inserts. The beige carpeting and custom Porsche steering wheel help to complete the look of this eye-catching interior. The seller notes that the sunroof was installed during the restoration.

Power comes from a fully restored, Numbers Matching, 2.0L engine that is paired to a 901 5-speed manual transmission. This mechanical injection engine is said to be in excellent running condition.  A new clutch has recently been installed. Receipts for all services will be provided in the photo gallery.

The sale will include tool kit, jack, all books, and service records.  This is truly a great opportunity to acquire a world-class, vintage 911 in a very unique color combination.

@Slim_Chance yes when the restoration was done the sunroof was added. The work was at completed with all OEM parts and is indistinguishable from factory instal. This is why we included the video. The judges at the concours it competed in, thought the work was as as good as it gets. Thanks for your comment & If you are truly interested in this car we welcome a thorough PPI.

@d_s93277 New clutch was done in the past 60 days. Running gear is excellent. This car is not fully concours ready, that would take some detail work but nothing excessive. Nothing you mentioned is very expensive to address. Let me know if you have a serious interest the car is available for inspection.

what a beautiful car. such a classy example of a 911. id take this over a gt3 any day. good luck!

Left rear drive boot at wheel needs replacing also excessive amount of dried dirty oil and grease needs to be cleaned off. I like how it shows but seeing this causes me to question the running gear.

@DaBigKahuna1969 the cars does not burn oil, not more than any super low mile excellent 2.0 example 911 S would. This car has only 5K miles since a full resto and has been very well cared for and maintained. There has been no need to do a compression test but anyone serious about this car is welcome to do one. The 2.0 motor revs like a super bike especially at high RPMs. The gearbox shits with perseion. Steve Mcqueen liked these 2.0's the best, because they are the lightest and what they lack low end they make up for it in the high end. Here is a link to the car being driven with some spirit.

This car was restored at the highest level. I am not exaggerating by saying that to restore a car at this level in this market just would not make any sense financially. This is a top level car that is an absolute blast to drive. Feel free to click the "Contact Seller" If you want more info and videos.
