Available for auction is this 1970 Fiat 500L finished in yellow over a red and black interior. The Fiat 500L, or Lusso, was first introduced in 1968 as a luxury-oriented version of the standard Fiat 500, equipped with new exterior brightwork and a redesigned interior. It comes equipped with a 499cc inline-twin engine that sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. This 1970 example is now being offered for auction at no reserve by its seller out of New York.

This 500L comes finished in yellow with streamlined black accents that reach from fender to fender, two black accents that begin at the hood latches and stretch across the hood, and an Italian-flag-inspired center stripe that spans the length of the car. It rides on 12” wheels with Abarth center caps that are dressed in SAVA Effecta+ tires. Exterior features include a retractable black soft top, chrome bumpers, driver’s and passenger door mirrors, updated Fiat badging, a “Fiat 500” front window sticker, and a vented engine cover. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in red along with a black rear bench seat that matches the carpeting and door panels. Amenities include roll-up windows, map storage pockets on the door panels, a storage compartment in between the seats, a floor-mounted shifter, a three-spoke Fiat branded steering wheel, and an aftermarket Pioneer radio. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.

The Fiat 500L is powered by a rear-mounted 499cc inline-twin engine that sends up to 21 HP to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transaxle. The seller notes that the oil was changed and a new starter was fitted approximately 6 months ago, and there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.

This sale will include a transferable registration and a bill of sale.

The seller would like you to know: "The vehicle is well taken care of and runs properly, the owner does not drive it often but loves that its a car that brings back great memories from back in the day. This car is a classic and is especially an Italian favorite."

@EZPZ123Z I purchased the vehicle 1 1/2 yrs ago and this was the condition it was in , so I can’t be sure if it was original

Great looking car. Is this the original paintwork and design (black fenders/stripes)? Or was the car originally just yellow?

Hello folks. To be clear in NY, a registration for a pre-1981 vehicle is equivalent to a transferable title.
