The Series 2 E-Type brought about several changes, including wraparound chrome bumpers, larger front indicators, removal of the glass headlight covers, repositioned taillights, and a larger front grille. It is equipped with a replacement black convertible top, exposed headlights, a louvered clamshell hood, dual exhaust outlets, and sits on 15” wire wheels. Yes, the toggle to the left of the glove box is a manual choke. You can see it in the "cold start" video where I pull it out to start the car, then push it back in, one notch, to reduce the idle until the car fully warms up.

@ppalmer The car has not been repainted. The paint is original. The photos from Classic Showcase are of buffing and polishing so none of the trim had to be removed. Thanks for asking.

@The914 I've owned the car for over 3 years and, yes, the restoration was expensive. The new leather interior and top were my choice to bring the car back to close to what it was when it was new. The disassembly of the engine was work was necessary to clean out the residue from years of being stored. The result is a beautiful, well running car that will bring years of pleasure to whoever buys it.

@Chipper The car was stored for decades so it needed the engine cleaned and the interior and top replaced. The paint is original and despite a few minor flaws is in very good condition.
