This 1970 Coupe comes finished in Light Ivory over Black leatherette and equips the optional Comfort Package. Accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, an original maintenance booklet, and several additional documents, this 911T is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee.

This example was factory specified in Light Ivory and rides on 15” Fuchs alloy wheels dressed in Michelin tires from 2008. Details include chrome trim, a hood vent, a driver’s side mirror, protective rubber moldings over the bumperettes, and gold-anodized lettering. Mobil Pegasus decals and yellow-tinted headlights have also been added.  The seller notes the driver's side fender and door have been refinished according to the paint meter readings. Additional images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin presents black upholstery spanning the seats, dashboard, and door panels. A matching carpet lines the floor, and a contrasting beige headliner completes the surroundings. Equipment includes roll-up windows, VDO instrumentation, a four-spoke steering wheel, and a locking glovebox. The optional Comfort Package also adds 911S-type instrument gauges, velour carpeting, and aluminum door sills. All gauges and electronics are reported to be working properly.

The 1970 911T features a 2.2-liter flat-six engine factory rated at 125 HP and 131 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. The T model received all updates introduced in the C-Series update, featuring a structure coated with an anti-corrosion compound and fully independent suspension. Its front suspension is equipped with a MacPherson strut and a single lower wishbone, while the rear suspension employs a semi-trailing arms setup. @Jpfrazier4211 with all due respect the 911 should come with consistent decos all around,
if the side and rears are correct, I have to assume that the front one is the odd one out here.
ie the correct larger deco style should be on the front bumper.
"the smaller one is a good look, it gives it a lighter sleeker appearance"
this comment does not inspire confidence, as it is pure suggestive opinion.
I also noticed that the fog light cover gaskets are fitted inside out:
    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-porsche-911t-targa-24/
So the front bumper has been replaced or repaired.
Are you willing to warrantee there has never been any front end damage to this car?,

As for the wheels they should be deep dish, not a question of looking correct to you, those are flat wheels,
the car was originally fitted with deep dish wheels, a very different wheel and a very expensive wheel:
    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/15x6%e2%80%b3-fuchs-wheels-for-porsche/

I have bought 5 cars on PCarmarket and want to bid on this car having just bought the 911L previously on here,
    https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1968-porsche-911l-5/
Not trying to throw a wrench in here, but would like real answers not opinions,
but this lack of knowledge on a car that you have know for a long time will restrict my bidding.

    Many thanks, JP
    GLWTS

@eurocol-good eye! I had not noticed.I do think the smaller one is a good look,it gives it a lighter sleeker appearance. After seeing the thin line, the rest look bulky.
I am sorry but the wheels look the correct depth to me and the chromes give it a crisp, sharp appearance

Great car...had a Signal Green '70 "S" purchased in late 1970 for $9k from a jet jockey with orders to Nam...drove the stuffing out of that hot rod for more than a decade and sold it to a Doctor for $12k...wish I had kept it...GLWTA.

    Nice car, and great presentation,
just a couple of quick questions:
As a 1970 Model should it not have the coveted 6" deep dish wheels, do they come with the car?
also can you explain why does it have wide side and rear deco rubbers but the narrow non matching
thin deco trim on the front bumper ??
    Many thanks and GLWTS

Awesome , honest car. I have a 70 911 T and love the car. I’m sure the odometer turned over once. No harm, no foul. These cars are so much fun to drive.

@coldbru body tag has been uploaded. It reads 11-11-L, which aligns with the COA. I have also uploaded a close-up of the COA for you. Thank you!

Can you please take a close-up of the body tag on the driver side; it will list the paint code color. It is partially visible in photo 66 but I can’t make out the paint code. Thank you very much. Also is there a kardex for this car?

For Clarity, we never claimed the car to be a 22,000-mile car, obviously if one would review the records and stamps in the book, the odometer has turned over.I am sure someone in the submission or receiving end of submission just took the numbers off of odometer.Wished it did have 22,000 miles I would stand tall and state that I want north of $150000 for the car.We state that it is a 5 digit odometer, stated in text is a compression and leakdown test performed at 121121 miles.
You state it appears to have original suspension components.Car drives like a 22,000-mile car it is EXTREMELY TIGHT in everyway, nothing loose or compromised. It may simply be one of tightest early 911 cars I have the opportunity to own or drive.
I do not have original radio

The miles are definitely not 22k. Look at the log book and you will see 59,108 miles in 1974 unless I'm misreading it. Add this to the 22k and it would have at least 82k miles. Can you confirm if it has oil fed chain tensioners? What else in in the receipts related to mechanical work, suspension refresh? It looks like a lot of the original suspension, tie rods, bushings. Would need a refresh if it hasn't already been done. Is the original radio still available? Very clean car for its age!

  • Jpfrazier4211 (seller) 2 weeksago

This car was sold new in Oklahoma USA.Lights were of a personal preference to the last owner,I personally think they are dynamite and add to the crisp, sharp, unique appearance.A/C does work

  • Jpfrazier4211 (seller) 2 weeksago

Paint meter readings indicate original paint with exception of left front fender and drivers door.Meter readings show slightly above factory on those two panels. No indication of panel replacement or signs of accident history

  • eagle32 (registered bidder) 2 weeksago

The paint is original or has the car been repainted?

  • eagle32 (registered bidder) 2 weeksago

Was this car imported from Canada or somewhere else? Why the odd yellow headlights? Does the A/C work well?
