One of less than 1,800 examples sold in the United States, this 1970 Porsche 914/6 has been restored in Silver Metallic over a black leatherette interior and is powered by a replacement 2.2-liter flat-six engine. Previously listed on PCARMARKET, this 914/6 has recently undergone over $6k worth of service and is now being offered for auction out of Florida.

This narrow body 914/6 was reportedly refurbished by Classic Showcase in 2008, at which time the car was stripped to bare metal and painted Silver Metallic. It features chrome bumpers, a newer black Targa top, black vinyl sail panels, gold-painted brake calipers, and front fog lights. Date-coded 14” forged Fuchs wheels are fitted with Pirelli Cinturato tires from 2017.

The interior is upholstered in black leatherette with basketweave inserts on the seats and dash. It features three-point safety belts, a thicker leather-wrapped steering wheel with a leather horn button, a Sapphire XIX AM/FM radio, 3-speed windshield wipers, electric windshield washers, and a center console with a fuel gauge, and VDO Quartz-Zeit clock. VDO instrumentation includes an oil temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, an 8,000 RPM tachometer and 150 MPH speedometer.

This 914/6 is powered by a 2.2-liter flat-six engine sourced from a 1970 911T, featuring refurbished Weber 40 IDTP 13C1 carburetors, B&B Performance stainless steel headers with heat exchangers, and a Bursch tuned muffler. Power is sent to the rear wheels through its 5-speed manual transmission updated with bronze shifter bushings and a rebuilt pedal box. The seller reports over $6k in general maintenance performed since 2020, copies of service records may be viewed in the gallery.

The sale includes service records, a spare tire, the original steering wheel, and a clean Florida title.
