The Honda CT70 was introduced in the summer of 1969 as a thrilling off-road trail bike. Following Honda’s “K” model, the first series of CT70s were known as the “K0” models, featuring extended chrome trim, various color choices, and a speedometer integrated with the headlight bucket. A highly desirable CT70H model, this expertly restored 1971 example features a 4-speed manual transmission and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon.

This bike is said to have been professionally refinished in Candy Blue Green paint. Design cues include chrome trim and “Honda Trail70” insignias along with a black and white decorative stripe. This example also features an optional luggage rack. It rides on a set of new Bridgestone tires. Additionally, the black vinyl seat has been replaced and the under-seat area was restored. The sole-gauge speedometer and odometer show some signs of wear but are reported to be working properly. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

Power is derived from a 72cc SOHC air-cooled engine sending power to the rear wheel through a highly desirable 4-speed manual transmission. The seller states the engine, brakes, and suspension were rebuilt during the restoration and there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
