The second-generation Nissan Patrol was introduced in 1959 and was the most popular body style in the United States market from 1962-1969. This 1972 example is a lefthand driver short-wheelbase (L60) purchased by the seller from its original owner, Theo’s Auto Service in Sargans, Switzerland, approximately 2 decades ago and is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six engine. Refinished in green over reupholstered grey seats, this otherwise highly original Patrol is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Switzerland.
This short-wheelbase L60 has been refinished in a light shade of green. Details include black-finished bumpers, fender-mounted rear-view mirrors, dual top-mounted windshield wipers, a rear step, Nissan Patrol-specific badges, and 16” alloy wheels wrapped in Cooper Discoverer tires from 2020 with a matching rear-mounted spare tire. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings.
The cabin features newly upholstered grey front bench seats with fold-down rear seating. Equipment includes dual cowl vents, roll-up windows, a grab handle, an illuminated glovebox, sun visors, a 2-spoke steering wheel, and black-finished instrumentation surrounds. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are said to function as intended with no warning lights present.
Powered by a 4.0-liter P inline-six engine featuring a single carburetor and electronic ignition, the L60 sends up to 130 HP to all four wheels by way of a 3-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller reports that the truck is maintained regularly, and the brakes were serviced in March 2024.
This sale will include a window sticker, a spare tire, some documentation, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Genuinely nice example. Just don’t put it into reverse instead of 1st… experts will know.”

Thanks for the opening bid.
Bid in the amount of $3,500
Truly unique jeep. Theo Lammertink as the original owner only used it to pick up parts nearby and push snow around the yard in front of his garage. Hence the low mileage.
