Decorated with a custom Jägermeister livery, this 1973 Porsche 914 2.0 has been transformed into a street-legal race car featuring a stripped-out cockpit with aluminum bucket seats, a full roll cage, a MOMO steering wheel, and a Rennsport shifter. It derives power from a rebuilt 2.0-liter flat-four engine with an enlarged oil cooler, a deep sump oil pan, dual carburetors, and an MSD ignition paired with a short-ratio 5-speed manual gearbox. This 914 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arizona.

 

This 914 has been refinished in orange and decorated with a custom Jägermeister racing livery. Other details include a front bumper with custom grilles, a front chin spoiler, a green Targa top and sail panels, pop-up headlamps, a fender-mounted antenna, a chrome driver’s side mirror, a chrome rear bumper, a Porsche-logo tail panel reflector, and a battery cutoff switch mounted to the right of the engine cover.  The car rides on factory 15” Mahle 4-lug wheels with Dunlop Direzza ZII tires mounted about 5 years ago. The cabin has been stripped of carpeting and fitted with a full roll cage along with a pair of padded lightweight aluminum bucket seats. Other modifications include a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, a Rennsport shifter, RaceQuip safety harnesses, a fire extinguisher, under-dash auxiliary gauges, and a new AutoMeter Sport-Comp tachometer. 

Power comes from a rebuilt 2.0-liter flat-four engine featuring dual Weber 44mm carburetors, a large front-mounted oil cooler, a deep-sump oil pan, an MSD ignition box, and GT Racing headers. The rear wheels are driven through a short-ratio 5-speed manual transmission with a 1:1 5th gear. The seller adds that a new battery was recently installed.

This sale will include a clean title.
