Thank you all for watching the auction. I appreciate your time..
@TheVintageCarGuy for the record my ‘76 TR6 does the exact same thing on both the driver and passenger door.
Bid in the amount of $4,000
Rarely do the doors fit like one would hope for UNLESS they've been attended to by a proper restoration shop that knows the cars. Many came off the line mis-aligned.

@TheVintageCarGuy Don't have a specific answer to that, I never bothered with it as it is a British Leyland car from the 70's. I can take it in to my body shop people and have them look at aligning it and may well do that since you mentioned it. Thanks for the question..
@Silverstone Can you speak to the poor alignment of the passengers door? Specifically, why is the bottom sticking so far out when the door is shut?
@dalek Thanks for the question. When I started he project, I decided not to rebuild anything as the car runs and drives perfectly. The clutch and salve were replaced and is like new, the gearbox is smooth and all the sycncros are good. I did a compression test and the results were 150 or within 5% on all; did not do a leak down. The engine has lots of power and great oil pressure and does not smoke or burn oil at all. I suspect the engine (only) was rebuilt before I bought the car. I changed out the speedometer because i broke the trip reset during deconstruction. That odometer has 4,000 or so miles on it and this one only has about 100 miles more since I started driving it. Car is available for inspection or I will take it to a mechanic of your choosing (within a reasonable distance).
Thank you again (was going to sign off Dr. Who.. LOL)
Hello nice images and details.
Do you have any information on the engine, transmission, or rear-end having been rebuilt
