Up for auction is this 1975 Porsche 911 S coupe finished in Peru Red over a black interior.  This example was purchased from its original owner by the seller approximately 23 years ago, having been well-maintained and enjoyed since.  Having undergone a top-end engine rebuild in 2011 along with some other performance upgrades, this 2.7L 911 S is now being offered for auction in great condition by its seller in Orange County, California.

This 911 S was professionally refinished in Peru Red nearly 14 years ago.  Detailed images depicting the condition of the paint are provided in the photo gallery.  Exterior features include added late-model galvanized steel doors, H4 headlights, dual side view mirrors and chrome window trim.  This 911 rides on polished 16” Fuchs wheels which are currently dressed in BF Goodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 tires showing date codes from 2014 and 2015.  The seller has indicated that a front fender and hood were replaced about 20 years ago following a minor accident.

The black upholstered cabin of this 911 is shown to be in fantastic shape given its age.  The seller notes that signs of wear are present on the driver’s seat bolster and the headliner exhibits some staining.  Features include power operated windows, a factory three-spoke steering wheel, an aftermarket shift knob, and a Sony CD player.  All gauges, electrical components and accessories are reported to be fully functional.

This 911 S is equipped with a matching numbers 2.7L flat-six engine.  The seller estimates that the horsepower is approximately 250, which is a significant increase from the stock rating of 165.  Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a rebuilt 915 5-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential.  The factory fuel-injection system has been swapped out in favor of 40mm PMO carburetors and the engine has been upgraded with 11:1 JE pistons, a remote oil-cooler, Web Cams camshafts and a twin-plug ignition system including dual MSD boxes.  A comprehensive top-end engine rebuild was carried out in 2011 and the results of a recent compression and leak-down test are provided in the gallery.  The seller confirms that the clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing and pressure plate were replaced.  In addition, new axles/boots have been installed along with a new battery and valve adjustment performed in December of 2019.  This 911 S is reported to be in excellent driving condition.

Upgraded 911SC brakes have been installed along with Turbo tie rods, 21/27mm torsion bars and Bilstein HD shocks.

The sale of this 911 S will include two sets of keys, a clear title, original books and service records.  A spare air/fuel meter, carburetor synchronizers, shop manuals and car cover will also be included in-sale.  Representing one of less than approximately 2300 surviving examples, this well-sorted 1975 911 S is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.

@Craysparks Thats overspray from when I was cleaning the dash.
There is nothing wrong with any of the glass.
Hopefully you can see in the pictures, it’s all clear.

In the cold start video, the windshield appears to have some issues. Seller, can you comment on what those ripples are in the windshield?

Hi Ralph, your email is coming back undeliverable.

Any damage that happened to the car was repaired by a quality repair shop. The same shop that did all the bodywork and painting on this car. The car has only been in one accident.
About 20 years ago I made a left and a woman continued to go straight.
She hit my car on the right front fender hood area. Its all been properly repaired, checked out and is totally roadworthy

    Thanks,
    Lance

@flatsix77 I had it rebuilt 9 years ago. I've put about 16,000 miles on it since then.
I put the carbs on a year or two before I did the rebuild, while it was stock.

In the picture gallery there is a piece of cardboard with some carb numbers on it. You can see the carb set up before and after the rebuild.

Gorgeous! May I ask how many miles since the rebuild? Was the fuel injection replacement performed at the same time as the engine rebuild? If not, how many miles on the carburetor replacement. Thx
