1975 Porsche 911 Carrera

This US Carrera was delivered new to California in April of 1975. The Carrera eventually found a home in Connecticut where it was cared for and remained in very nice condition.  The original motor and transmission remain with the car as delivered and the factory correct black paint presents beautifully. Despite showing just over 100,000 miles on the odometer, the car presents honestly with the appropriate amount of underside patina and no major signs of corrosion.

The interior has minimal wear and shows beautifully.  Prior to the current dealer acquiring the car, a Connecticut dealer did work on the fuel injection system and mounted a new set of tires.  Even though the car was in decent running condition, the new owner/dealer decided to bring the car to another level by addressing what they felt were possible future concerns.  As a result the following work was recently performed.

  • Replaced Engine Mounts
  • Adjust Clutch Cable
  • Rebuilt left and right Front Brake Calipers
  • Installed new Headlamp Scoops
  • Replaced Master Cylinder
  • Replaced Shifter Bushing and Coupler
  • Replaced Outer Tie Rod Ends
  • New Blower Motor
  • New Fuel Pump
  • New Turn Signal Relay
  • Complete Interior/Exterior Detail
This Carrera is now an honest, well-sorted example, which has been revitalized, and ready to enjoy.

Following the 1973 introduction of the Carrera RS, Porsche continued with Carrera production and development. While Rest of the world examples received the Mechanical Fuel Injection from the '73 model, the US Carrera received the K-Jetronic CIS (Continuous Fuel Injection) system of the 911S.  The Carrera featured wider rear quarter panels just like famed 73 RS as well as an optional Carrera one piece deck lid spoiler, providing the most aggressive and sporty looking Porsche built within the mid-1970's.

    HI @stigsboss12

    I am the seller, tried to really represent this car as honestly as possible. It isn't perfect nor is it a show car but as a driver I would rate it top tier. The repaint is good quality and the car meters between 4-6 throughout the car so its not a bondo bucket. Underneath is original and honest, no bottoming out or major rust ( you can see the pics). The interior is so nice for an original interior so I doubt there will be complaints there. Runs very strong and I do believe it would serve your purpose well. Hope this helped a bit. Good luck.

    Hi I am not able to see this car in person. I don't expect it to be a perfect car, however, was wondering if the seller could provide any insight as to what this car may need. I am looking for a nice weekend driver that I don't have to worry about putting miles on and go to some PCA driving events with. ANy insight appreciated. Thanks

    @pel

    Underside photos have been added. The seller will send a video of the car running tomorrow.

    @KryptoF15
    The seller informed us that they do not have records for the car which is why it was brought to their mechanic and all recommended items were addressed and stated in the listing

    Pictures of the underside of the engine and suspension would be very helpful.

    hi seller
    can you post inside pictures, and video running of the car

  • KryptoF15 2 months, 2 weeksago

    Any prior maintenance history?

  • nwGTS 2 months, 2 weeksago

    @zipper. Assume RWD since the 964 carrera 4 was the first AWD 911.

    Is this beauty AWD or RWD?

  • PorschFinderNY (seller) 2 months, 2 weeksago

    @nwGTS thanks for pointing that out, I see the confusion. On these model year cars, the factory odometer is only 5 digits hence they roll over at 100k. The mileage shown in the gray box is the odometer reading (3211). Based on wear and tear on the original interior and looking at the car underneath, it is highly assumed that the mileage is 103,211 miles on the car. Hope this clears up any confusion.

  • nwGTS 2 months, 2 weeksago

    ??? The mileage is described as 'just over 100,000 miles' in the description but the stat section read 3,211. What is the actual mileage?
