Delivered new to Precision Porsche-Audi of Eatontown, New Jersey in April of 1976, this Porsche 911S Coupe came factory finished in Sienna Metallic over tan partial leather upholstery. Equipment includes a factory sunroof, optional fog lights, Fuchs wheels, and a fuel-injected 2.7-liter engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Remaining under the care of its original owner, an active member of the Porsche Club of America for nearly 50 years, this beautifully preserved 911S is now being offered for auction out of Miami, Florida showing just over 54k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe came factory finished in the rare paint color of Sienna Metallic (436) with optional white rectangular fog lamps mounted beneath the front bumper. Other details include rocker deco moldings, chrome headlight rings, and aluminum brightwork around the windows and wheel arches. The factory 15” Fuchs wheels were refinished and mounted with a set of new Vredestein Sprint Classic tires in 2018. The seller states the car was completely refinished in its original color in 2007 and describes the paint to be in very good condition overall apart from small paint chips on the hood and a crack in the right rear bumper.
The tan interior features matching partial leather seats and carpeting as well as power windows, pop-out rear quarter windows, and a period Blaupunkt radio. Some signs of wear are present on the seats and headliner, and the seller reports intermittent issues operating the radio buttons.
The air-cooled 2.7-liter flat-six engine features Bosch fuel injection and an output of up to 165 HP and 167 lb.-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle. The brakes, shocks, and clutch are all said to have been replaced in 2018, images of the undercarriage can be found in the gallery.
This sale will include a clean title and car cover as well as the original owner's manuals, toolkit, and spare tire.

@Derekbou thanks for the info. I googled a few 1976 images, but did not see one with it. I appreciate the insight
@trappistmonk the chrome arches were a common factory option during that transitional era and you often see it on the midyears before chrome became less popular. I also have the chrome arches and rocker on my ‘77.

@musicmanjazzer was the chrome on the wheel arches installed at the factory? I have never seen that before. Maybe a dealer added it?

It is all original.
Love the car, but not a fan of the wheel arch and rear light chrome work. When was this installed and can it be removed without damage? Any other mods to the car?
Scary to see a 5 blade still on a car especially in Florida.
@urfealex Yes all motors work fine, even the sunroof.

This looks just like a later model of my wife's 68 912..which was repainted Sienna Metallic before she bought it. This colour gets loads of comments..it has an orange tint in some light and a slight pink in others.I never liked it when she got the car ( all original numbers match 5 speed just a colour change from burgundy). Now I love it and I love this car too. Best of luck..
