This 1976 Porsche 914 received a comprehensive refurbishment, including an engine overhaul in 2023, transmission resealing, and installation of a new Sachs clutch assembly within the past year, alongside a yellow body refinish. It comes equipped with 15” Minilite wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and a quad-exit exhaust system. Showing approximately 49k miles on the odometer, this 914 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.

Factory-specified with a Sunflower Yellow finish, this example was repainted during current ownership and features pop-up headlights, a removal black Targa top, a telescoping antenna, and a front air dam that was fitted in 2023. It rides on 15” Minilite wheels wrapped in 165-series Futura tires, detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin boasts black vinyl bucket seats that are two-way adjustable and features a cassette stereo integrated into the dashboard, a vanity mirror, a trip odometer, a center armrest console, heat and ventilation controls, and tinted glass windows. The seller reports minor upholstery damage on the passenger seat but confirms all gauges and electronics are working properly.

Power is derived from a mid-mounted 2.0-liter flat-four featuring Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, delivering a factory-rated 84 HP to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. During current ownership, the engine underwent refurbishment by Aircooled Racing of Wellsville, Pennsylvania, which included Kolbenschmidt cylinders and pistons, new bearings, valve lifters, and other components. The transmission was also resealed and fitted with Sachs clutch components in the past year. An itemized service list from this refurbishment is available in the gallery. Additionally, it features KYB dampers, and braking power is facilitated by four-wheel disc brakes.

This sale will include a set of 15” factory wheels, comprehensive service records, and a title classified as an “antique vehicle.”

@Cherche-pepite Thank you for your question. The temperature gauge is not functional, but the rest of the gauges are, including the clock and voltmeter.

To the gentleman who visited us on Wednesday (if you're watching), I mentioned the clock wasn't working - it actually is. We apologize for any confusion.

In the driving video, the temperature gauge doesn't appear to be functioning. And I couldn't see what the voltmeter below it was doing. Can you clarify, please?

Why does the engine tin look like VW Bus engine tin? You can see the ground in the pictures of the engine bay.

Good morning everybody, Forza is excited to bring our first car to PCarMarket! We're offering this car for sale on behalf of its current owner, a Pennsylvania resident who's owned the car since June 2019, purchasing it off the second owner who owned it since the mid 80s. In his ownership as mentioned, the car received a repaint, as well as an engine rebuild and gearbox reseal, new dampers, and new wheels and tires. It's one of the nicest 914's I've driven, with a surprisingly friendly gearchange and well sorted ride. We'll be happy to answer any questions throughout the auction, and can show the car to anyone who might be in the area. Good luck bidders!
