Available for auction is this 1977 Lamborghini R235DT Tractor finished in white and blue. Predating the exotic sports car company, Lamborghini Trattori is an agricultural equipment manufacturer which still functions to this day and specializes in designing and building tractors. This 1977 Lamborghini R235DT chassis number 56885 was originally purchased in California where it was stored for approximately 40 years. It was reportedly acquired by the seller around five years ago from a Lamborghini parts vendor in Hayward, California, and has since been serviced. Previously listed on PCARMARKET, this Lamborghini is now being offered for auction by its seller on the East Coast.
The chassis is finished in its original blue while the white engine cover, fenders, seats, and dashboard have been refinished due to fading. Equipment includes heavy-duty front and rear tow points, optional front headlights with high beams, low beams, and parking lights, headlight cages, a heavy-duty rear hitch, hydraulic rear lift arms, and a power take-off with an optional safety cover. The seller notes that the taillights and work light were rewired and are functioning properly. The white finished wheels are mounted with 15” Pirelli tractor tires in front and new 28” BKT tires in the rear.
The driver is seated in a white sprung steel pan and provided with control levers, a three-spoke Lamborghini steering wheel, and Lamborghini-branded Smith’s instrumentation including a tachometer, an hour meter, a low fuel light, a high beam light, a generator light, and an oil pressure light. The seller notes that the seat is not original and confirms that all gauges and accessories remain functional.
Power comes from an air-cooled 2-cylinder diesel engine which drives the rear or all four wheels by way of a 3-forward speed transmission with high and low range gearing for 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds. The top speed is reported to be 15 MPH at 2,200 RPM. Additional features include selectable four-wheel drive, a locking rear differential, and 2-speed power take-off. Recent service is said to include a new fuel filter, an oil and filter service, and a fuel injector cleaning. The seller reports approximately 148 hours of use on the engine hour meter.

Yes it starts and runs with no issues. I did have the injectors cleaned recently at a qualified FI shop just to be sure that there was no restrictions.

@rnak I bought it from Stafford Equipment about 5 years ago. They are now the Lamborghini parts supplier. When he sold it to me he said that it was a 1980. On talking to him before the auction he told me that he bought the tractor in September 1977 so I changed the report age. Lamborghini tractors since them has gone through a number of Owners. The current owner (S.A.M.E.) dors not have the records to respond to a serial number check for age, model etc.

Hello-Is this tractor a 77 or an 80? What proof of ownership/documentation does the seller have?
Everything about this Tractor reminds me of a Kubota triple from the day, except the air cooling. GL

I'd get rid of those blue decals on the Hood and put on some scaled SVJ decals. It would be the coolest tractor on my block. Every one would want a picture of it. Lol Only 148 hours? Wow.

These tractors have lots of torque. Without a load one can start in 8th forward gear. I have driven it in 4WD with the lever but never had to use it.
This is so cool in so many ways, I wish I had space for this.
