Finished in the stunning Paint to Sample Aubergine, this 911S has recently undergone a complete glass and engine-out repaint in its original color and features an interior with reupholstered Cork leather seats and trim along with accenting Dark Brown carpeting. It came from the factory generously optioned with aluminum rocker panels and fender trim, an electric sunroof, power windows, a 380mm sport steering wheel, Koni shocks, a front oil cooler, a Blaupunkt radio, and Fuchs forged alloy wheels. Serviced in preparation for this sale and accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this 911S is now being offered for auction once again by its seller out of Florida while showing approximately 87k miles on the odometer.
This 911S is said to have recently undergone a complete glass and engine-out refinish in its factory Paint to Sample color of Aubergine. Exterior details include a tea tray spoiler, silver anodized window trim, front and rear impact bumpers, rectangular front fog lights, and a single exhaust outlet. Additionally, factory options include 911S aluminum rocker panels and fender trim, an electric sunroof, a fender-mounted electric antenna, and 15” Forged Alloy Wheels which have been polished and are dressed in BFGoorich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires from 2016. Detailed images including documentation of the refinish are provided in the gallery.
The cabin came from the factory optioned with Cork partial leather upholstery and Dark Brown carpeting. The seller notes that some of the leather has been reupholstered, such as on the front seats, and is consistent with the factory configuration. Other options include a Blaupunkt Radio ‘Frankfurt’, a 380mm sports steering wheel, power windows, and two extra speakers on the shelf below the rear window. All electronics are reported to be working properly.
This 911S is equipped with an air-cooled 2.7-liter flat-six engine that sends power to the rear wheels through a 915/61 5-speed manual transmission. It also came from the factory with an optional front oil cooler and upgraded Koni shocks. The seller notes that in preparation for the sale mechanical maintenance was performed that included the fluid, filters, tune-up, valve adjustment, and check of all systems.
This sale will include a clean title, spare tire, and Certificate of Authenticity.
The seller would like you to know: “1977 Porsche 911 S Coupe finished in rare Paint to Sample Aubergine over Cork partial leather interior. This numbers-matching 911 just came from a restoration process that included a professional paint job in its original Paint to Sample Aubergine color, a restoration of the interior respecting the original Cork partial leather, and a complete mechanical fine-tuning in order to be ready for the road with no excuses. The car was fully disassembled before painting including all the glass and the engine out of the body, the whole body was completely revised and treated before the painstaking full paintwork. Every single seal was replaced with new rubber, a new engine mat was installed while the engine was out of the car, and mechanical general maintenance was done including fluids, filters, gaskets, spark plugs, valve adjustment, etc. A Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is available and included in the sale.”

Just to confirm, we don't have any leak down or compression numbers for the motor? Is the heat hooked up? I saw a listing prior where it says it isn't although I see the blower still installed.

@WGris Hello, they were hand-upholstered. We provided the right materials to a local shop and they did the work by hand
Pretty car. Are the seats hand-upholstered or are they essentially “pull-on” slipcovers?
Thanks for clarifying.
@twickes40 Good morning, there are zero issues with the transmission, clutch, or shifting through gears.
Regarding the driving video, it was taken with one hand on the phone and one hand doing all the driving. While it’s not the safest approach, this might explain the impression that led to your comment.
@seller any issues with the transmission? During the drive video it looks like it didn’t like the downshift to second.
@OttoB Good morning Otto, yes, the described works were done in 2023.
We just uploaded copies of the available documents.
The car does not have an AC system.
I would say the car was driven around 1,000 miles from 2023 up to this date.
There are no signs of rust anywhere on this car.
Please let us know if you need more details.
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@twickes40 Good morning. Yes, it looks like flares were added to the car at some point during its lifetime.
Yes I see that now, the modified flares wheels and tail are doing this car no favors.
@Chipper Car is not period correct.
Good luck with the sale - hope you get more than the $47K no sale high offer from September of last year!
When you say recent work above, you mean September of 2023 - some 15 months ago? I don’t see the documents showing the work done, are they scanned and available?
How many miles had the car been driven since September of 2023? Does it have working a/c? Any rust or maintenance history? Thanks in advance for this information!
Bid in the amount of $40,000

Thanks
