Finished in the desirable combination of Medium Ivory over a Dark Brown leather interior, this 1978 example remains in highly original condition with just 37k well documented miles showing on the odometer. Reported to be up to date on all scheduled service, this pristine 911 SC represents an incredible value for any passionate air-cooled Porsche enthusiast.
The Medium Ivory finish is shown to be in exemplary condition for its age, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Specially ordered details include black exterior trim, color-matched headlight rings and rectangular fog lamps mounted on the lower front valence. This SC’s look is complete with iconic factory Fuchs wheels which come dressed in Michelin tires with a good amount of tread life remaining.
Inside, the driver is situated in a classic Dark Brown leather interior. The seller notes that the front seats have been professionally reupholstered to correct some minor bolster stretching. Factory features include a center console, cruise control function, right-hand exterior mirror, electric antenna, speakers, a leather steering wheel, power windows and a power sunroof. This 911 carries an air-cooled 3.0L flat-six engine which sends approximately 180 HP to the rear wheels by way of a number’s matching 5-speed 915 manual transmission. Gorgeous, pristine, PTS, first year SC with stupid low miles......boy.....someone put a lot of effort into this one. Ridiculous originality.......only nit I can find is the speakers in the door cards.
I would like to see pics of original seats if possible as well as undercarriage also if possible. Beaty of luck on your auction.
@cabrachian No the previous owner did not keep the original seat covers. We have photos of the seats in the car prior to them being reupholstered if you'd like to see them.
