Now available for auction is this 1979 Porsche 911 Turbo finished in the classic combination of Guards Red over tan leather. Originally specified with equipment for delivery in California, this 930 has been well cared for throughout its life with a collection of service records dating back to new, as well as the original title from 1979. Offering some of the most iconic styling of the air-cooled era, this 930 is now being listed for auction by its seller out of Florida with just over 37k miles showing on the odometer.
This 930 is finished in Guards Red and the paint is said to be in great shape aside from a small chip on the hood and very minor damage to the lower front spoiler as depicted in the photo gallery. In addition to its distinctive wide fenders and Tea Tray rear spoiler, this Turbo rides on factory 16” Fuchs wheels with color-matched centers and General G-Max tires.
Inside, you will find a well-preserved tan leather interior complete with the factory-installed Blaupunkt radio. Wear is present on the driver’s side bolster as well as slight discoloration of the upper dashboard near the instrument cluster. Red Coco floor mats have been installed and equipment selected from the factory includes an electrically adjustable passenger-side mirror, a black roof liner, and an electric sliding sunroof. the air conditioning is said to blow cold and all other gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional.
This 1979 930 is equipped with a turbocharged and intercooled 3.3 L flat-six engine that sends as much as 265 HP to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual gearbox. A collection of service records is said to be included in the sale detailing a lifetime of routine maintenance.

@Scolar827 I don't believe the red wheels were an original factory option. It was something that some dealers did back in the day. I got the car from the 3rd owner who purchased it just as it sits now w the color matched wheels.
