This 1979 Porsche 911SC Coupe had been under the care of a longtime owner in California before being acquired by the seller in August of 2021. It comes finished in Silver Metallic over a black interior and features several tasteful modifications including a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, upgraded sound system, and Turbo-sized Fuchs wheels. Showing approximately 82k miles on the odometer, this classic 911SC Coupe is now being offered by its owner out of Florida.
This Coupe comes finished in Silver Metallic with bright aluminum window trim, front fog lights, and removable silver Porsche graphics on each side. The Turbo-sized 16” Fuchs wheels come dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2021. A new OEM chrome exhaust tip has been fitted and a professional paint correction has been completed along with an application of Cquartz ceramic coating. Clear paint protection film also covers the hood, front fenders, and mirror caps. A few small imperfections are noted on the front bumper and hood, additional images are provided in the gallery.
The black interior has been outfitted with an aftermarket MOMO Prototipo steering wheel along with Carbone Liveries floor, parcel shelf, and luggage compartment mats. The sound system has been upgraded with a Continental Bluetooth head unit and Pioneer rear speakers. Other additions include a Rennline magnetic phone mount, Rennline reinforced door stops, new shift linkage and bushings, rear seat stay straps, a new sunroof seal, door sills, and electric window switches. The passenger window is slow to operate, and the A/C unit has been removed for weight savings.
The air-cooled 3.0L flat-six engine produces up to 180 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle. The original California-compliant catalytic converter has been removed and all routine service and oil changes have reportedly been carried out as needed.
This sale will include a clean title along with the original A/C unit, catalytic converter, steering wheel, and floor mats.
