Up for auction is this beautifully presented 1979 Porsche 928 coupe.  Finished in a unique combination of Copper Brown Metallic over tan leather, this 928 had been diligently maintained by a family in California from 1997 up until 2018.  Having recently received a new clutch as well as a full mechanical service, this 1979 example is now being offered for auction in outstanding driving condition with approximately 57k miles shown on the odometer.

The Copper Brown Metallic paint on this 928 is stated to remain in great shape with both rear quarters professionally refinished to a perfect match.  Detailed images of the exterior are provided in the photo gallery.  This 928 rides on “phone dial” wheels which are currently dressed in Mastercraft Avenger tires.  The seller has indicated that new tires will be mounted prior to the sale.

The factory upholstered tan leather interior is stated to be in excellent condition.  A true grand tourer, this 928 is designed to travel over long durations of time while offering maximum comfort and refinement.  This luxurious cabin features fully functional electrical components, gauges and accessories.

This 928 carries a robust 4.5L water-cooled V8 engine rated at 230 HP and 253 lb-ft of torque.  Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle making for a claimed top speed of 143 mph.  During a recent service, this 928 underwent all scheduled fluid and filter changes as well as a new clutch and brake rotors.  Showing only 57k miles on the odometer, this 928 is stated to be in superb driving condition.

The sale of this exquisite 928 will include original books and documentation, two sets of keys, tools, service records spanning 20 years and a clear title.  This is a rare opportunity to get behind the wheel of a truly well-preserved Porsche 928, do not let this one pass you by.

@Lazo a couple of panels have been repainted. I have meter reading that I thought I sent in but I'll have to do it tomorrow morning when I get into the office.

Hello everyone. Please feel free to ask any questions on this 928. We've done quite a bit of work over the last two months to shore this example up nicely. Video coming today and new tires being installed as we speak. Thanks and feel free to reach out. Cheers! - Alex
