Up for auction is this beautifully presented 1979 Porsche 928 coupe. Finished in a unique combination of Copper Brown Metallic over tan leather, this 928 had been diligently maintained by a family in California from 1997 up until 2018. Having recently received a new clutch as well as a full mechanical service, this 1979 example is now being offered for auction in outstanding driving condition with approximately 57k miles shown on the odometer.
The Copper Brown Metallic paint on this 928 is stated to remain in great shape with both rear quarters professionally refinished to a perfect match. Detailed images of the exterior are provided in the photo gallery. This 928 rides on “phone dial” wheels which are currently dressed in Mastercraft Avenger tires. The seller has indicated that new tires will be mounted prior to the sale.
The factory upholstered tan leather interior is stated to be in excellent condition. A true grand tourer, this 928 is designed to travel over long durations of time while offering maximum comfort and refinement. @Lazo a couple of panels have been repainted. I have meter reading that I thought I sent in but I'll have to do it tomorrow morning when I get into the office.
