This 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 was commissioned as a custom restoration by the current owner and was completed by the classic Toyota specialists at FJ Land Cruiser Resurrection in Colombia. The truck underwent a crew-cab pickup conversion and was refinished in beige over a brown leather interior. It derives power from a rebuilt 4.2-liter 2F inline-six engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case and features power steering, air conditioning, front disc brakes, and a digital Bluetooth stereo. Upon completion, the truck was imported to the United States where approximately 300 kilometers have been driven since. This restored Land Cruiser is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.

During the restoration, the body was converted to a four-door pickup configuration and refinished in beige with a contrasting white roof and grille surround. Accessories include a chrome front bumper with a Warn winch, a drop-down tailgate with white Toyota lettering, dual mirrors, a bed-mounted spare wheel, and a body-colored spare fuel can mounted on the driver’s front fender. The truck rides on black 15” steel wheels dressed in 33” x 12.5” BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The seller describes the exterior to be in excellent overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The restored body-colored interior features a pair of front bucket seats trimmed in brown vinyl with matching door panels and a reach bench seat. It comes equipped with a black three-spoke steering wheel, three-point front seatbelts, manual window cranks, a heater, an under-dash air conditioning system, and an aftermarket digital stereo with Bluetooth and satellite radio connectivity. All gauges and accessories are fully functional.

Power comes from a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six engine that drives the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck features manually locking front hubs, power steering, and front disc brakes. The seller notes the engine and transmission were completely disassembled and rebuilt by FJ Land Cruiser Resurrection and every mechanical component has been replaced with new parts while adhering to factory Toyota specifications.
