Representing the iconic 40-Series Toyota Land Cruiser this 1981 FJ45 pickup features a desirable long-bed configuration and a 4.2-liter inline-six engine sending power to all four wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. It was sold new in Saudi Arabia and has been refinished in tan along with the installation of an upgraded aluminum radiator, off-road lights, a stitched floor liner, and rugged 32” tires. Acquired by the seller in March 2023 and recently serviced with an oil change, new spark plugs, ignition wires, a distributor, a starter, and more, this Land Cruiser is now being for auction out of Texas.
This long-wheelbase FJ45 is a two-door pickup variant equipped with a long bed. It has been refinished in tan with a contrasting white roof and black 15” steel wheels with chrome hubcaps. Accessories include a steel front bumper mounted with off-road lights, hood tie-downs, dual mirrors, chrome door handles, fender vents, a polished grille surround, and a tailgate with white “TOYOTA” lettering. The truck rides on 35”x12.5” Leao Lion Sport M/T tires. The seller notes some imperfections on the bed floor as well as paint running near the decal in the tailgate. The painted cabin is fitted with a split bench seat trimmed in grey vinyl along with matching door panels, a black dashboard, and a stitched black floor liner. Accessories include a sliding rear window, manual side window cranks, a black three-spoke steering wheel, rubber floor mats, and an aftermarket stereo. Some wear is noted on the dashboard as well as chips on the firewall and behind the seats. The seller adds that the odometer has been replaced with approximately 100 kilometers driven since; the true mileage is unknown.
This Land Cruiser is equipped with a 4.2-liter inline-six engine producing up to 135 HP and 210 lb.-ft of torque. The rear or all four wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-range transfer case. It features manually locking front hubs as well as an upgraded aluminum radiator that was installed in September 2023 along with new spark plugs, ignition wires, a distributor, a starter, an expansion tank, and a battery. The coolant, engine oil, and oil filter were also replaced at this time.
This sale will include a spare tire and a clean title.
