Available for auction is this 1982 Mazda FB RX-7 GSL finished in Black over a burgundy interior. This Series 2 FB example comes equipped with a removable roof, leather upholstery, and the premium GSL Package which adds four-wheel disc brakes and a clutch-type limited-slip differential. The car was treated to a complete bare-metal repaint several years ago and has been lightly modified with upgraded exhaust, Rota wheels, and a performance air filter kit. Cared for by the seller and two very close friends since 2005, this Mazda RX-7 is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 51k miles on the odometer.
The Series 2 FB model is slightly longer than its predecessor and featured integrated bumpers, black body side moldings, and wraparound taillights. This example comes finished in Black and was reportedly stripped to bare metal for a high-quality repaint about 6 years ago including all new rubber seals and gaskets. The original glass is said to have been retained and the car rides on a set of aftermarket 15” Rota wheels dressed in BFGoodrich tires from 2008.
The cabin is upholstered in burgundy leather with matching carpeting and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Features include storage compartments behind the front seats, a removable roof panel, power windows, air conditioning, and an upgraded radio head unit. Some wear is noted on the driver's seat bolster, and the seller confirms all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional including the air-conditioning.
Power comes from a 1.2L 12A rotary engine featuring the factory Nikki carburetor with a Racing Beat air filter kit and full exhaust system with headers. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transmission with a GSL 3.90 limited-slip differential. The differential is said to have been fully rebuilt and powder coated within the last 500 miles.

@tdskip I was able to verify that car had air pump installed when it came to NY.
It was removed and at this point nowhere to be found.
Owners manual shows vacuum diagrams for California emissions.
But I can't guaranty that it is.

I will have to double check the California information.
I know there was a decal under the hood with that info , it was removed while a paint work was done.
If it come to a maintenance . Car doesn't need anything . It is ready to be driven.
Is this a 50 state car, in other words does the emission Sticker indicate California compliant?
