This 1982 Porsche 911SC Coupe was acquired by the seller out of Illinois as a rolling project car and has since undergone a custom restoration in Rubystone Red over a black interior with Recaro bucket seats. It derives power from a European-spec 993 Carrera 3.6-liter engine and has been modified with a KAAZ limited-slip differential, Boxster brakes, Elephant Racing spherical rear bushings, a Wevo 915 shifter, a RUF-style front bumper, 964 side skirts, and a Turbo-style whale tail spoiler as well as aftermarket CCW three-piece wheels, a rear seat delete, a MOMO steering wheel, and more. Having undergone extensive service, this custom 911SC Coupe is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
This 911SC has been completely refinished in the desirable Porsche 964 color of Rubystone Red and fitted with 964 side skirts, a RUF CTR-style front bumper, an RS-style rear bumper, updated aero mirrors, and a 930 Turbo-style whale tail rear spoiler. It rides on aftermarket 17” CCW Classic lightweight three-piece wheels with gold-painted centers, polished outer lips, and Bridgestone Potenza RE71R tires (2018). The seller notes the car’s exterior was refinished with all glass out, the seals for the fenders, doors, and windows have been replaced, new taillight lenses have been installed, and a few small stone chips and scratches are present throughout the exterior. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin has been redone with new black RS carpeting and Recaro SPG bucket seats with body-colored backrests. Other modifications include a rear seat delete, a MOMO three-spoke steering wheel, a Rennline footrest, a radio-delete plate, and a Wevo shifter. The seller notes one small hole is present on the dashboard as well as two small holes on the glovebox door and a hole in the headliner on the rear passenger side. All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly.
This 911SC derives power from a European-spec 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera 3.6-liter engine that drives the rear wheels through a replacement 1976 Porsche 911 5-speed 915 manual transaxle and an upgraded KAAZ limited-slip differential. Service items include the replacement of the valve cover and timing chain cover gaskets, clutch, a new Patrick Motorsport flywheel, axle boots, upgraded Turbo tie rods, new Boxster brakes, stainless-steel brake lines, a 964 front oil cooler, and Elephant Racing spherical rear control arm bushings. The seller adds that the engine and gearbox oil were also recently replaced as well.
This sale will include a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title as well as the original rear seats, parcel shelf, and rear side panels.

Since it was originally a US car, unless the speedometer was changed, I would assume it’s 80,000 miles, not kilometers.

@teufel It is pretty strange since it is not a drip it's like paint compression from when the quarter window trim were screwed in place. I'll retry the pictures to see what is going on.

Apologies ... forgot something ... when going thru the pics again. In pics 31 and 32 you show a close up the paint drip at the bottom edge of the rear window. Is that the only paint drips on the car? Thanks

@teufel As stated in the comment below the car does not have heat or AC. The stock fan behind the dash is still there.
Car as a single key that does it all. No issue with seals or what so ever they are new. No rust that we can see. All electrical elements work. Also as stated in comment there is no more tire rub. I just added better pictures of the holes you were asking for.
Would like to know the current working condition of the heater, window defrost, and AC. What components have been removed and or remain. Trying to figure out effort to return to functioning. Also, does this come with a single key or two keys, and is it a single key for ignition and door locks? Any issues with the seals on sunroof or windows leaking air or water? Any signs of rust anywhere on the car? Nothing shown in the pictures, but common rust areas for example under/around the battery tray, or elsewhere did not have the best photos. Do all electrical elements work, such windows, lights, etc? Do front wheels/tires rub on full rotation in either direction? Can you provide photos (or photo numbers) for the holes in the dash and glove box?
@SbF430 I will confirm the exact millage tomorrow but if I remember correctly 80 000 kilometer. Should be pretty close to that.
Before the engine was installed last spring we did a leak down showing less than 3% on each cylinders. Top end seals were changed before installation.

@SteadFast There is no heat and electrical Ac would be an option that you can add on later
@SteadFast If you look at picture 53 you can see some rubbing on the fender and tire. That is the result from the previous setup which was too aggressive. Now everything is fine. That being said, prior to the shipment or delivery of the car, the 4 tires will be replace with RE-71RS since the RE71 R are no longer in production. Also since many people were concerned with the stone chips on the fenders and front bumper, the front end will be repainted. Pictures will be sent prior to delivery of the vehicule, all these measures are to ensure a turn-key experience for the new owner so he can fully enjoy both mechanical and esthetics attributes of the car.

Anyone who’s spent any time around these cars at all knows that all the gauges are simply held into the dash with a rubber gasket. You could quickly/easily turn all the gauges upside if you wanted from the comfort of the drivers seat.

@993David It was done like that for a personnal taste and trying to do a creamsicle theme.
The speedo is angle so you can see the speed you are driving through the steering wheel.
Last thing, isn’t the tach usually at an angle as opposed to speedo?

@bender706 There is a lot to like here. Since you sprung for a glass out respray and 993 engine swap why spray the wing supports and interior of the engine bay while original was out? Ruby’s tone is so stunning the white pokes me in the eye. Good call on the 95 993 motor. More reliable than 96+ with varioram. Love the matched seat backs and wheels too.
